     Conraet Ten Eyck was from Moers, Germany acc. to his marriage certificate.2,3 He was baptized on 3 March 1617.2 He (1) married Maria Boele on 4 June 1645 at Amstelveen, The Netherlands, (DRC.)4,2 (Banns on 12 May 1645 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He was Coenraet ten Eyck, 28 yrs old, from Moers; she Maria Boel, 23 yr, from Cologne, her witness was her sister Jannetie Boel.)4,2 Conraet Ten Eyck (2) married Annetje Daniels, daughter of Daniel Lernou and Maria Goverts, on 15 April 1682 at New York City (DRC) (He was Coenraedt ten Eyck, wid. Maria Boelen; she Annetje Daniels, wid. Herman Smeeman, both liv. N. Yorke.)5,6,7 Conraet Ten Eyck died before 5 April 1687.1,8,9

     Conraed and Maria came to New Netherlands before 1651. They lived at the corner of Broad and Pearl Street in Manhattan.8,1
     Coenraet signed the Oath of Allegiance in 1664.
     He was a tanner, manufacturer and shoe dealer. He was wealthy and was Burgher Guard as well as overseer and guardian of orphan children. He was also elder and deacon of the Dutch Reformed Church.
     He and his wife are listed in the NYDC memberlist of 1686 as "Coenraed Ten Eyck and his wife Annetje Daniels" (member #5-6, name #7-8.)8,10,11 Conraet Ten Eyck made a will on 4 September 1686. It was proved 5 Apr 1687; sons Dirck, Tobias, Coenradt, and Henry Ten Eyck confirmed as executors 26 Apr 1687. He was Coenradt Ten Eyck of New York. Mentions (but does not name) his present wife; children: Morice, wife of Wessel Ten Broeck, Jacob, Dirck, Tobias, Coenradt, Hendrick, and Matthias, gotten by my deceased wife Maria Boise. Sons Dirck, Tobias, Coenradt and Hendrick to be executors. Witnesses: Wm. Bogardus, Pieter Stoutenburgh, and Hendrick Jansen Van Virden.12 His parents were Wilhelm An Ger Eick (Der Eick?) And Michel Puitzen. They were married in Moers on 1 Jun 1614. Wilhelm m. (2) 15 Dec 1628 Greit Huten (as Wilhelm An Gen Eicken Funder). The connection is tenuous.2

It was proved on 16 Jan 1711/2. He as Dirck Ten Eyck, of New York, cordwainer. Names sons Jacob (eldest), Conrad, Abraham, Dirck, and Andreas.
