     Adam Francis Post was born on 13 June 1877 at Westwood, NJ.¹ He married Irene Tuers, daughter of James H Tuers and Sarah Louise Collignon, on 28 August 1898.¹ Adam Francis Post died on 1 September 1967 at Ormond Beach, FL.¹

     Adam Francis Post was a Department Store Buyer. After finishing high school, he went to work as a clerk in a grocery store in Sparkill, Rockland County, NY. After his marriage, he decided he would fare better in Newark, and he got a job with a large department store. He soon rose to the position of buyer, and was transferred to White Plains, NY in 1921, where he remained until 1960. He was retired then and moved to Ormond Beach, FL to be live with his daughter, Beatrice, for a time. He then moved to a nearby retirement home, "The Casements", former winter home of John D. Rockefeller. This was a pleasant place, situated on an inland waterway just a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean.²

He was Adriaan Post, ym, from the Hague in Holland; she Catryna Gerrits, yd, from Wageninge in Gelderland.)^1,4 Adriaen Post died before July 1691 at Bergen, NJ.^1,7

     Adriaen Post was from Essex County by Akquegnonck acc. to his marriage certificate.¹ He (1) married Maritje Van Ripen, daughter of Thomas Jurianse Van Ripen and Jannetje Straatmaker, on 9 January 1730 at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC) (both from Essex County by Akquegnonck.)^1,4 Adriaen Post (2) married Jannetje Van Wagenen, daughter of Hendrick Gerritse and Margrietje Straatmaker, on 23 February 1739.^2,5

     Adriaen Post was born on 18 December 1705.¹ He was baptized at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC) (sp. Jan Straat and Katryna Gerrits.)¹ He married Rachel Harty in January 1730 at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC.)^2,3

     Adriaen Post had two children: Lea (bp. 1735) and Adriaen.⁴

     Adriaen Post was born in March 1691/92.² He was baptized on 29 March 1692 at Bergen, NJ, (DRC) (sp. Helmigh Roelofse and his wife Jannetje Pieters.)¹ He married Catherine Sanders, daughter of Sanders Egbertse and Elsie Pieters Staats.^3,4,5

     Adrian Poste was born circa 1600 at Harlingen, The Netherlands.^2,1 He married Clara Moockers between 1625 and 1630 at The Netherlands.^2,1,3 Adrian Poste was buried on 18 February 1677 at Bergen (or 28 Feb.)^4,2,1

     Adrian and Clara had left Brazil to go back to the Netherlands. From there they sailed on the ship New Netherland's Fortune to New Netherland, arriving 19 Dec 1650.⁵ Adrian Poste and Clara had one more daughter, Lysbeth (no data); Schulze has two daughters Lysbeth, one b. c 1654; the other b. c. 1668.^3,5

     Adrian Post was born on 25 June 1715 (in Acquegnon.)^2,3,4 He was baptized at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC) (sp. Peter Van Houten and Claertje Post.)^2,3 He married Hendricktie Ackerman, daughter of Egbert Ackerman and Elizabeth Breyandt, on 20 May 1736 at Hackensack, NJ, (DRC.)⁴ Adrian Post died on 1 May 1811.

     Adrian Post Jr. was born on 24 January 1678.^3,2 He was born on 16 March 1678 at DRC, New York City.² He married Elizabeth Marselis, daughter of Marcelis P VanMarselis and Pieterje Van Vorst, on 21 April 1701 at Bergen, NJ, (DRC.)^4,5,6,7 (Banns on 30 March 1701. He was Adriaen Post, ym; she Elizaebth Mersilis, yd.)⁷

     Adrian Post Jr. and Elizabeth had more children. Van Wagoner (Hopper) gives Garret, Claartje and Adriaan, but also says five children; Post Files (Konight) has Adriaen and Merselis.^3,8

     Alexander Post was born on 29 February 1720.¹ He was baptized at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC) (sp. Sander Egbertse and Magdalena van Gysen.)¹

     Alice Viola Post was born on 21 January 1873 at Colesville, NJ.¹ She married Merritt C Beemer, son of John B Beemer and Henrietta Cox, circa 1894.^1,2 Alice Viola Post died on 11 July 1947 at Colesville, NJ.¹

     Alice Viola Post and Merritt had two more children who died young (Alice had 4 children, 2 living in 1910).² The 1910 census lists Merritt C Beemer and Alice V at North Wantage, Sussex County, NJ, with their two sons Wilbur and Kenneth.² Married name: Alice V Beemer.²

     Beatrice May Post was born on 13 October 1900 at Sparkill, Rockland County, NY.^3,1 She married Arthur Wickman Dalrymple, son of William Dalrymple and Jane Langstroth, on 7 February 1925 at New York City.¹ Beatrice May Post died on 1 January 1983 at Ormond Beach, FL.¹

     Beatrice May Post was Episcopalian.
     Beatrice was the second oldest of five children. She was born in Sparkill, Rockland County, New York and moved with her family to Newark, Essex County, NJ when she was about ten or eleven years of age. There she met Arthur at the local Episcopal Church. They sang in the choir together. It was love early on from what she has told me.
     After World War 1, in 1921, the family moved to White Plains, Westchester County, New York where her father was a buyer for Genungs Department Store. She worked in the lab at the White Plains Hospital while Arthur Dalrymple completed his schooling. They were married in February 1925 at The Little Church Around the Comer in New York City. Soon after, they went to Colombia, South America to live until February 1942, at which time they returned to White Plains, NY, to wait out the second World War. After the war, they went back to Colombia. By 1950 Arthur was starting to travel a lot around the world in his job and Bea got tired of living in a suitcase. So she returned to White Plains for a few years until her eldest daughter, Joan, got married in 1955. In 1956, Bea and Dal (as Arthur was called) bought a retirement home in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida. Dal continued to travel but Bea was happy to be retired in a home of her own. Her younger daughter, Betty, finished high school in Ormond Beach and remained in the area after an early marriage. Married name: Dalrymple.
