     He resided at Pemmerpogh; he died without issue.1,4 Elias Vreeland made a will on 26 February 1747 at New Jersey. It was proved 25 Apr 1748. It lists his brother Joris and his sister Feytje, wife of Perigrine Santford (she has children). Executors: Michael, son of Harmen Vreeland, dec., Johannis Vreeland, and Cornelius Gerrebrants.5,4,6

     Elias Vreeland was from Gemonepa acc. to his marriage certificate.1 He married Maritje Van Hooren, daughter of Rutger Van Hoorn and Neeltie Van Vechten, on 11 May 1723 at Jersey City, NJ, (Bergen DRC) (He was Elias Johannissen Vreeland, ym, b. at Gemoenepan; she Marytje Van Hoorn, yd, b. at Pemmerpog, and both liv. at Gemoenepan.)3,1,4 Elias Vreeland died before 20 March 1775.1

Vreeland yeoman of Acquackanonk (Essex) to Dirick Vreeland 'Whereas Johannes Michaelse one of the Patentees of Acquackanonk aforesaid in his lifetime and at the time of his death was entitled to one fourteenth part of the Lands within bounds of Achquecknonk aforesaid and also to some Salt Meadows lying within the bounds of Newark in said County and also to one fourth Part in a Tract of Land and Meadow joining to the Patent of Acqueckanonk heretofore purchased of one Stofel Hoogelant commonly called and known by the name of the Point and the said Johannes Michaelse (in said Patent so called) by his last Will and Testament did Bequeath all his said Lands and Meadows to his two sons Dirrik Vreland and Elias J. Vreeland to be by them divided in such manner as they should think Equitable.' Book G3, page 403, Secretary of State's Office, Trenton, NJ. In the deed mention is made of Jacob Vreeland and Enoch Vreeland, owners in the Point.

Elias owned lot #4 East and lot #2 West in the Boght subdivision and also a Wesel lot between Vreeland Ave. and the river. He devised the lot at Wesel bridge to his grandson, Elias, son of his son John.7,8 He made a will on 22 September 1767. It was proved 20 Mar 1775. He was Elias Vrelandt, of Wesel, Essex Co. Names wife Marytje; son John; daughter Neeltje Van Rype; daughters Claasse Van Rype and Jannitje Drummond; grandson Elyas Vreland, son of my son John. Executors: son John and son-in-law Dirk Van Rype. Witnesses: David Marinus, Petrus Poulisse, and Hartman E. Vreelandt.1,9,10
