     Hendrik Jansz Van Feurden and his wife Sara Thomas were listed in the 1686 membership list of the NY Dutch Church.¹⁴ Name variation: Sara Thomasz. Married name: Van Feurden.

     Konight had a FGS for Petrus De Puu/Pew (b. 12 Mar 1753, bp. 8 Apr 1753, Tappan #1691; parents Abraham De Puu and Rachel Blauvelt; sp. Petrus De Puu and Elisabeth his wife; he is a grandson of Elizabeth Blauvelt, acc. to BC-Families) with four children, but the whole sheet was crossed out. BC-Families DePuy File has this marriage and children, but has no parents for Sarah Eckerson.

     Sarah Eckerson was born on 4 October 1797.^1,2 She was baptized on 26 November 1797 at Paramus (DRC) (sponsors: Petrus and Maria Eckerson.)² She married ? Williams. They had a daughter Margaret, who is listed in her father's will.^3,4 She died before 1821.⁴

     Rachel and Sara were twins.² Name variation: Catriena Eckerson.⁵ Married name: Williams.

     Sarah Eckerson was from Tappan when she married.^4,3 She married Jan Eckerson, son of Abraham Eckerson and Dirkie Westervelt, on 17 December 1803 (John A. Ekkerson of Clarkstown and Sarah Ekkerson of Tappan.)^4,3

     Susannah Eckerson was born on 18 February 1783.¹ She married Benjamin S. Demarest on 14 December 1800 at Paramus (DRC.)² She died on 27 August 1856.¹ She was buried in DRC Cemetery in Pascack.¹

     Theunis Eckerson was from New York but liv. in Schoharie when he married.³ He was baptized on 14 May 1707 at New York City (DRC.)^1,2 He married Cornelia Becker on 28 November 1734 at Schoharie, NY.⁴ Theunis Eckerson died before 1750.

     Theunis Eckerson was born on 9 February 1730.^1,2 He married Magdalena Slingerland on 21 October 1760 at Albany, NY, (DRC) (Dinnes Ackerson and Lenea Slingerland, both under Albany.)^1,3 Theunis Eckerson died on 10 January 1797.¹

     Teunis Eckerson served as private in 15th Regiment, Albany County, NY Militia. He was born and died in Schoharie, NY.⁴ Theunis Eckerson made a will on 14 January 1796. It was filed in Schoharie County, NY (A-50). No probate date given. He mentions sons: Thomas, Cornelius, and John, daughters Marytie and Annatie. Executors: sons Thomas and Cornelius; Witnesses: Silas Gray, James Eckeson, Jr. and Hans Koning. He signs Dunis Eckeson.^5,6

     Theunis Eckerson was baptized on 20 December 1754 at Schoharie, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Theunis Eckkerson and Lena Vroman.)^1,2,3 He married Geertruyd Becker on 23 September 1782 at Middelburgh, NY.⁴ Theunis Eckerson died in November 1822.⁵

     Theunis was in the Revolutionary War. His son Thomas files a petition in Schoharie County Surrogates Office:
     Konight gives him a son John, b. bef. 1783, mentioned in Cornelis Eckerson's will as "John, son of my nephew Teunis." Schoharie Wills has "my brother John's son Tunis," which makes more sense.
     Konight has the marriage date of Teunis and Gertrude as 23 Sep 1782 on the written family group sheet. She also has a typed FGS (which also contains the Indenture and the petition of her son (see above), where the marriage date is written in as 11 Feb 1780. It is unknown what the source is.^7,8

     Thomas Eckerson was baptized on 3 March 1705/6 at New York City (DRC.)^1,3,5 He married Elizabeth Meyer, daughter of Ide Meyer and Gertruyd Van Dalssen.^6,7

     He served as a private (NJ) in the Revolutionary War.^10,11 Thomas Eckerson made a will on 11 June 1811. It was proved 7 Dec 1818. He names his wife Cornelia; sons Peter, Thomas, Jacob, David, Charles, Edward, and John; daughters Mary, widow of Jacob Crouter, and Jinny. Wife Cornelia to be executrix. Witnesses: Henry An. Hopper, Andrew Terhune, and James Demarest. His inventory was published in "Relics."^12,13

     Thomas Eckerson was baptized on 24 March 1712/13 at Jamaica, NY, (DRC.)^1,2 He married Margarita Slingerland, daughter of Cornelis Slingerland and Eva Jans Mabie.² Thomas Eckerson died before 3 March 1797.³

     Thomas Eckerson made a will on 25 June 1783. It was probated 3 Mar 1797. He lists his wife Margaret (Margrit); sons Thomas, Tunis, John, and Cornelius; and daughters Anna and Maria; Schoharie Wills only has a daughter Eave. Executors: Philip Van Renselaer of Albany, nephew Thomas.^3,4 Name variation: Theunis.⁵

     Thomas Eckerson was born on 17 March 1825.³ He (1) married Maria A Haring, daughter of Abram Haring and Aeltje Blauvelt, on 27 November 1847.^3,4 Thomas Eckerson (2) married Rachel Hopper, daughter of John G Hopper, on 15 January 1882.^1,3 Thomas Eckerson (3) married Jane Elizabeth (or Elizabeth Jane) Verbryck.³ He died on 31 March 1899.^1,5

     The 1850 census lists Thomas Eckerson and Maria A at Washington Township, Bergen County, NJ, with Samuel Cole (25, b. NJ, carpenter) and Hannah Cole (21, b. NJ). Thomas is 45, b. NY, farmer; Maria is 40, b. NJ.⁶ Name variation: Thomas A Eckerson.^3,1

     Thomas Eckerson was baptized on 19 December 1750 at Schoharie, NY, (DRC.)¹ He married Elisabeth Ecker on 29 July 1779 at Schoharie, NY, (Lutheran.)^2,3

     Thomas Eckerson died between 24 April 1801 and 7 September 1801.^1,2

     Thomas Eckerson, Jr. was a major in the Albany County Militia, Fifteenth Regiment in the Revolutionary War; his nephew Pieter was possibly Lieut. Colonel in the same regiment.^3,4 Thomas Eckerson made a will on 24 April 1801. Letters Testementary were issued 7 Sep 1801. He lists his brother Tunis (with whom he lives); brother John; sister Egnes, wife of Henry Becker; nephew Thomas, son of brother Tunis; nephew Thomas, son of brother John; brother Tunis' wife Getny (Gertrude) and his daughter Stiney; Margaret Gray (no relation stated (but daughter of his sister Engeltje)). Executors: brothers Tunis and John of Middelburgh. Witnesses: Jacob Van Dyke, Peter Zielie Jr. and Storm A. Becker. Bondsmen: Abram Becker and Abram Becker, Jr.^1,2,5
     It is possible (as there is no baptism for Thomas), that the baptism for Theunis Eckerson is in error, and should be for Thomas.⁶

     Thomas Eckerson was born on 15 September 1738.¹ He was baptized on 5 October 1738 at Tappan, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Thomas Eikesen and Elisabet his wife; father Jacob Eikesen, mother Thryntie Cuypel.)^1,2,3 He married Maria Bogert, daughter of Jan Bogert.⁴ Thomas Eckerson died on 7 May 1829.⁵ He and Maria Bogert were buried in DRC Cemetery in Tappan.⁵
