Holland, partner general store, imm. 1912, alien.7 The 1930 census lists Peter J Goossens and Jacoba at Teaneck, NJ, with four children, all b. NJ: Freida (15), Peter (13), Jacoba (11) and Virginia (6). Peter was 56, b. Holland, worker, public works; Jacoba was 41, b. Holland, worker, cafeteria.4 The 1940 census lists Peter J Goossens and Jacoba at 166 Larch Ave at Teaneck, Bergen County, NJ, with three chiildren, all b. NJ: Jacoba (21, switchboard operator), Virginia (16), and Peter (23, auto mechanic) his daughter-in-law Florence (21, saleslady, lived in Hackensack in 1935), and grandson William (2); and Henry D Oudolf and his son Henry Oudolf Jr.. William Gott1

     William Gott was born in 1842 at New York (7 y in 1850, 18 in 1860, but Find-A-Grave has his birthdate as 13 Dec 1840.)2,1,3 He married Margaret.4 He died on 15 February 1887.3
     The 1870 census lists William Gott at Morrisania, Westchester County, NY, with Margaret Gott (26, b. NY), Ada Gott (5, b. NY), and William (2). The father William is 28, b. NY, a bookkeeper, his parents are listed as being of foreign birth.4
     When he lived in Westchester, Wm. O. Gott was registered as a military veteran. He served as a private in the Civil War in the 22nd New Jersey, entering 1 Sep 1861. He is however listed as a gardener; but he is a voter, and can read and write.5 He was buried at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ.3
     An Ada Gott is listed aged 5 with William in 1870; with Isaac as granddaughter, aged 15 in 1880, and with Isaac aged 20-60 in 1885. She is not listed in Isaac's probate, as her father is still alive; but in Eliza's probate she is listed as a daughter. An Aida L. Gott married W.L. Stormont/ Stermont on 31 Dec 1891 in Orange, Essex County, NJ, she was 27; she died 16 Jun 1940 in Brooklyn at age 72 (b. 7 Apr 1868), she was buried in LaPorte, PA, her father is William and her mother Margaret (Ackerman); her age does not fil with William's daughter, and why would she be buried in PA?6,7
