PA German Pioneers, 1980 Gen Pub. Co, p.146, lists Abraham Weidman 25, Rodolph Weidman 2 and Jacob Weidman 40, as passengers of the Mercury, arrived in Philadelphia, May 29, 1735. Also listed are Barbara Weidman, 36, and Barbara Weidman 3months.1 Pennsylvania German Pioneers, V/I 1727-1775, 1990(8?), p. 147, 148.
It is quite likely that the infant Barbara born in 1735 became the wife of Bernard Gardner, and that her parents were Barbara 35, and Jacob 40. Abraham and Rudolf were possibly Jacob's younger brothers.1 Married name: Gardner.
