They are from Oudorp, and are going to Paterson.3,1 The 1910 census lists Jacob Heerschap and Dora at 318 Montgomery Street (1st Ward) at Passaic, Passaic County, NJ, with six children: Walter (16), Crine (13), Clara (9), Nellie (8), Jacob (3) and Minnie (1 + 4 mo), all born in NJ.4 The 1920 census lists Jacob Heerschap at 310 Montgomery Street (2nd Ward) at Passaic, Passaic County, NJ, with four children: Clara (17), Nellie (16), Jacob (12) and Minnie (11), all born in NJ.5

Catherine married Abraham Lott, son of Engelbert Lott and Cornelia de Lanoy.3,4 Jacobus Hegeman made a will on 3 February 1706/7. It was proved 29 Jan 1741. He was Jacobus Hegeman, living at the New Land or East wood, in Kings County. Names wife Janettye Hegeman; three children: Adrian (eldest), Elbert, and Catharine. Witnesses: Peter Nevins, Joseph Hegeman, and Johanes Schenck, Clerk. The widow was dead in 1741, Elbert Hegeman and Abraham Lott were made Administrators with the will annexed.4

     BC-Families Hagerman File has John as son of Adrian Hegeman and Catelijn Margits, but Hegeman Family does not list him at all.3,4
     Van Pelt File had a 2nd marriage with Marretje Clark, with a sort date of 1885. BC-Families Hagerman File does have a marriage of a Maria Clark with Tunis Hegeman (b. c. 1754). I have removed the marriage with John.3,1
