     Jannetje Van Buskirk was born in 1706.⁴ She was baptized on 17 November 1706 (NY Lutheran Church) at Hackinsack, in the parents' house (father Thomas Van Boschkerck; sp. the pastor Justus Falckner (in whose place stood Laurens Van Boskerck) and Henrickje, wife of Laurens Van Boskerck.)^1,5,4,6 She married Petrus Van Orden, son of Adam Van Orden and Abeltie Slot, on 18 April 1734 (NY Lutheran Church) (Pieter Van Orden and Janneke Van Boskerk.)^5,7,8

     Jannetje Van Buskirk and Petrus had two more sons, both bp. NY Lutheran Church:

     BC-Families has a birthdate for Jannetje (28 Feb 1694), and a baptismal date for Anna (8 Apr 1694). It makes very little sense that that would be two different children.
     Jannetje (wife of Cornelis Corsen) is listed first in the will; BC-Families has the Anna/Jannetje in 1694, and then a Jannetje in 1700, who m. Cornelis Corsen; but gives no real source; so possibly it is the first Jannetje who is m. to Cornelis.^3,1 Name variation: Anna Van Boskerken.¹ Married name: Corsen.

     Jannetje Van Buskirk was born circa 24 August 1738 at Hackensack, NJ, (eight weeks old at baptism.)² She was baptized on 19 October 1738 at New York City (NY Lutheran Church) (sp. Abraham van Boskerk and Rahel, his wife.)² She married Daniel Demarest, son of Simon Demarest and Vrouwtie Haring, on 13 March 1761 at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC.)^3,4

     Konight had a lot of pencilled notes about the birth and parentage of Jannetje. The fact that she had a daughter Margrietje seems to point to her mother being Margrieje/Margareta. This makes these connections a definite possiblity. But treat with caution!^1,5 Married name: Demarest.

     Jannetje Van Buskirk was born on 30 April 1733.² She married Lawrence Van Buskirk.¹ She died circa 1791.²

     Johannes Van Buskirk was born in 1694.¹ He was baptized on 1 July 1694 at Hackensack, NJ, (DRC.)³ He died in 1720.⁴ He was buried in NY Lutheran Churchyard in Hackensack.⁴

     Johannes Van Buskirk was baptized on 9 August 1696 at Hackensack, NJ, (DRC.)¹ He married Elsie Van Horn, daughter of Cornelius Christiansen Van Horn and Margaritje Lucasse Vanderburgh, on 6 May 1718 (NY Lutheran Church) (Hans Pieterssen Van Boschkerk and Elsje Van Hoorn.)^1,2,3 (Banns on 20 April 1718. NJ, at home); Henry Hopper and family; and two domestic servants, both b. Ireland: Mary Gaudy (57) and Catherine Pena (25). John J. is 68, b. NJ, farmer, Rachel is 66, b. NY.³

     John P Van Buskirk was born in 1825 at New York.¹ He married Wilmina Haring, daughter of Samuel Haring and Sally Bogert.²

     Kate Van Buskirk was born in 1860 at Tiffin, Seneca County, OH.¹ She married Warren Brinkerhoff.¹ Kate Van Buskirk died in 1955.¹ She was buried in Tiffin.¹

     Laurence Van Boskirk was born in 1687 at Bergen, NJ.² He married Fitje Vreeland, daughter of Cornelis Michielsen Vreeland and Metje Braecke, on 18 September 1709 at Bergen, NJ, (DRC.)^1,3,4 Laurence Van Boskirk died on 15 December 1752.²

     Laurence Van Boskirk made a will on 7 November 1750. It was probated 12 Apr 1753.⁵ Name variation: Lourens Andriessen Van Buskirk.⁶

     Laurens Van Buskirk was born in 1703.^5,6 He (1) married Margitie Van Horn, daughter of Lucas Van Horn and Aeltie Banta, on 27 October 1727 (NY Lutheran Church) (at Hackensack, in my house. Laurens Thomassen Van Boskerk, and Margretje Lucas Van Hoorn, yd.)⁷ (Banns at Hackensack, NJ. by Voorlezer Hoejer.)⁷ Laurens Van Buskirk (2) married Eva Wanamaker, daughter of Johann Dieterich Wannemacher and Anna Kunigunda Kornmann, on 5 April 1747 (NY Lutheran Church.)^1,3,8,2 (Banns. at Remmerpoch. Laurens Thoomsen Van Boskerk, widower, and Eva Wannemaker, yd.)⁸ Laurens Van Buskirk died on 22 December 1773 probably in Saddle River.² He was buried in Van Buskirk Burial Grround in Saddle River.⁴

Mentions wife Eva; Eldest son Thomas; youngest son John La., not yet 21; daughters Allyte, Antye, Jannitye, Mary, and Margaret. Executors: Thomas A vanbuskerk and Peter Dedricks Wanamaker.      Laurens Andries Van Buskirk married Elisabeth Demarest, daughter of Petrus Demarest and Maria Batton, on 25 August 1742 at New York City (DRC.)¹

     Laurens L Van Buskirk was born in 1662 at Bergen County, NJ.¹ He married Hendrickje Van Der Linde, daughter of Joost Vanderlinde and Feutje Roelofs.^3,1,2,4 Laurens L Van Buskirk died before 4 June 1724 at NJ.^1,5

     Laurens L Van Buskirk made a will on 8 May 1722. It was proved 4 Jun 1724. He was Lawrence Van Boskarck (Boskerck) of Hackingsack, Bergen Co., yeoman; Names wife Hendrickje; children Joost, Andrew, John, Jacobus, Laurance, Benjamin, Fytje and Jannetje. Wife sole executrix, but in case she remarries or dies brothers Andrew and Peter van Boskerck, both of Pembrebogh, Bergen Co., to be executors. Witnesses: Casper Jansze Humpolitzky, Jims (James) Christiaensz, and Albert Stevenson van Voorhees.^6,5,7 Name variation: Lourens Lourense Vanbuskirk.³

     Leah Van Buskirk was born in January 1731.¹ She was baptized on 21 March 1731 (NY Lutheran Church.)¹ She died before 28 November 1788 as she is not listed in her father's will.²

     Lourens Andriessen Van Buskirk was born in 1636.¹ He married Jennetje Jans, daughter of Tymen Jansen Jans and Marytje Webber, on 12 December 1658 at New York City (DRC) (He was Laurens Andries, from Holsteyn; she Jannetje Jans, wid. of Christaen Barents.)^2,3,4,5 Lourens Andriessen Van Buskirk died before 19 March 1692/93 at Bergen, NJ.^2,6

     Lourens came to New Netherland in 1654 from Schleswig-Holstein, Denmark.¹ Lourens Andriessen Van Buskirk and Jennetje lived in 1662 on the west shore of the Hudson River.¹
     He was a turner and farmer, and lived in New Amsterdam. In 1686 Lourens purchased with others a large tract of land known as New Hackensack. He resided on this land as early as 1688. He was the first coroner of Bergen County as well as Justice, Magistrate and other offices.^1,7 Laurens Andriessen and Jannetje Jans made a will on 29 July 1679. It was proved 19 Mar 1692/3. They were Lourens Andressen and wife Jannetje Jans, of Minckachque. Name children of Jannetje by first husband Cristian Baerense, vizt: Barent, Cornells and Johannes Cristiaense; children by present husband: Andries, Lourens, Pieter and Thomas Louwersen. Witnesses: Enoch Michielsen and Claes Arentse Toers. Administration granted on 13 Jul 1694 to Andrise Lawrance, both the testators being dead.^8,9
     There seems to be a bit of confusion about their death dates; she died about two years before her second husband. Her dates range from 13 July 1691 to 16 Jul 1694; his from before 19 Mar 1693 to 1 Jul 1694. The below cited website has her date as 16 Mar 1692 and his as 13 July 1694, both at Bergen County, New Jersey, both of them being buried at Constable's Hook, NJ.^10,11,12,13 Name variation: Laurens Andries Van Boskerck.² Name variation: Laurens Andriessen.²

     Lucas Van Buskirk was baptized on 26 September 1733 (NY Lutheran Church.)¹

     Lucretia Van Buskirk was born on 27 February 1788.¹ She married Jacob A.L Zabriskie, son of Albert J Zabriskie and Martha Ackerman, on 30 July 1808 at Bergen County, NJ, (Paramus DRC.)¹ Lucretia Van Buskirk died on 6 December 1839.¹ She was buried in DRC Cemetery in Saddle River.¹

     Her parents were Thomas L. Van Buskirk and Hester.¹ Name variation: Geesje Van Buskirk.¹ Married name: Zabriskie.

     Magdalena Van Buskirk was born on 25 December 1727 at DRC, Hackensack, NJ.^1,2 She married Cornelis J Bogert, son of Jacobus Bogert and Willemptie Terhune, in 1750 (NY Lutheran Church.)²

     Margaret Van Buskirk married Henry Fredericks.¹ Margaret Van Buskirk died before 28 November 1788.¹

     Margarethje Van Buskirk was born on 14 August 1740.^1,3,2 She was baptized on 28 August 1740 (NY Lutheran Church.)^2,4 She married Joannes Winter, son of William Winter and Hester Haldron.^5,3 Margarethje Van Buskirk died on 5 May 1823 aged 82.11.15.^3,6,4 She was buried in Ramapo DRC (Island Church) Cemetery in Mahwah.⁶
