5. Urbanus (bp. 2 Dec 1648, DRC New Amsterdam; father Urbanus Luyers, mother not listed; sp. Evert Duycking and Christina Capoens).^3,4
     On 26 June 1646 Urbanus Luursen van Wagenem, Mr. Metselaer, about to sail on the Ship "The Princes" to Nieuw Nederland, settles a debt.
     Olivetree has him on the "Princes Amelia," which arrived in New Amsterdam before 24 May 1647 (Urbanus Luurs master mason from Wagenem; NNC:4:4.90), on which date the ship returned to the Netherlands. It sank near Wales on 27 Sep 1647. Only 21 passengers were rescued.^5,6,7
     His brother Jacob was the progenitor of the Kuykendall family. Acc. to this genealogy, they came from Wageningen.⁸ Name variation: Urbanus Metselaer.⁹ Name variation: Urbanus Luursen.⁵ Name variation: Orbanus Luersen.²
