     NOTE: Konight says Jan married "Susanna Van Huysen or Susanna (de) Nys." Maybe Johannes married Susanna Van Huysen, and Jan married Susanna de Nys. In any case, Jan (bp. 1651, and Johannes bp. 1661) probably died young. No marriage with Van Huysen in NYDC; but Susanna's mother is Van Huysen.5,6,4

     Alena B Ward was born on 4 October 1850.1 She married Edward Johnson Phillips, son of Hiram Phillips and Elizabeth Knapp, on 24 January 1874.1,2 Alena B Ward died on 3 December 1917.1 She was buried in Mt. Rest Cemetery in Stony Point.1
