     James Van Antwerp was born in March 1787.¹ He married Maria Proudfoot in 1827.^1,2 He died circa March 1870 by a severe constipation of his system that failed to yield the least to the powerful remedies applied.¹

     It seems likely that Jannetje van Antwerpen is the sister of John van Antwerpen, in all census these two couples live right next door to each other. Married name: Jennie Underland.⁴ Name variation: Jane Onderlinde.^3,6 Married name: Onder de Linde.

     Jannetje Van Antwerpen was born on 8 November 1717.¹ She married Lowijs Peek, son of Johannes Peek and Antje Vedder, on 16 May 1741.^2,3
