     Thomas Schnebly was born on 25 December 1802 at Hagerstown, Washington County, MD.^1,3 He married Catherine J Zabriskie, daughter of Jacob C Zabriskie and Maria Brevoort, on 19 November 1851 at Bergen County, NJ.⁴ Thomas Schnebly died on 25 August 1871 at Hackensack, NJ.^2,1,5

     William and Thomas invented and patented a number of works including a rotary steam engine, a grain and grass harvester, an improved harvesting machine and a grain tally.⁵ Thomas Schnebly was an editor.⁶

     William J Schnebly was in January 1920 an accountant for a steamship company.¹ The January 1920 census lists William J Schnebly and Elizabeth Lansing at 255 Moore St. at Hackensack (Ward 3), Bergen County, NJ.¹

     Anna Maria Schneider was born on 1 September 1742.¹ She married John Philip Altland, son of Jacob Altland and Maria Sybilla, on 25 January 1763.¹ Anna Maria Schneider died on 26 November 1783.¹ She was buried in Altland Meeting House Cemetery.¹

     Bartholomeus Schoats was born in 1670 at New York.¹ He (1) married Christina Kermer, daughter of Hendrick Kermer and Annetje Thomas Mingael, on 28 November 1708.¹ Bartholomeus Schoats (2) married Jacoba Lewis, daughter of Thomas Lewis and Francina Leisler, on 21 April 1734 at New York.¹ Bartholomeus Schoats died on 7 July 1758 at New York.¹

     Bartholomeus Schoats was a silversmith.¹ He became a member of the Dutch Church 31 May 1706 and a Freeman in NY in 1708.^1,2 His father was Dr. Reynier Schoats/Schaats. His grandfather was Rev. Dr. Gideon Schoats. Gideon Schaets was minister of the Reformed Dutch church at Albany at the time and for several years after. Name variation: Bartolomew Schaats.³

     Eunice L Schober was born at Jersey City, NJ.¹ She married William Crowley on 22 June 1887.¹

     Christian Frederick Schobert was born on 27 September 1881 at Kirken Semitz?, Bavaria, Germany.¹ He married Theodosia DeWitt, daughter of Judson Adoniram DeWitt and Eliza Ann Johnson, on 21 March 1907 at Racine, WI.¹

     Christian arrived in the US in 1898.¹ His parents were Johan Schobert and Margrete Boeringer.¹

     Hugo R Schoenborn was born in 1853 at Saxony.¹ He married Rosina Mattjetscheck, daughter of Anthony Mattjetscheck and Rosina, in 1876.^2,1 Hugo R Schoenborn died on 12 January 1904 at Hackensack, NJ.³ He was buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack.⁴

     He immigrated on 16 Apr 1868 on the "Hermann." He was 16, a merchant, and had left from Bremen. He was naturalized in NY Court of Common Pleas on 28 Feb 1874. (imm. Apr 1868). His birthdate is listed as Dec 1851. He was a baker, and living at 55 Bayard Street in NYC.^5,6 The 1880 census lists Hugo R Schoenborn and Rosina at Hackensack (New Barbadoes Twp), NJ, with a daughter Rosina R (2, b. NJ) and two German boarders, both bakers; and a German servant. Hugo is a baker as well, he and his parents were born in Saxony.¹ The 1900 census lists Hugo R Schoenborn and Rosina at 28 Main Street at Hackensack, NJ, with their children, all b. NJ: William R (May 1882), Henry A (Oct 1884, d. 16 Feb 1903, of typhoid, obit in the Hackensack Republican), Authar R (Dec 1888), and Anna W (Jul 1893); and his parents-in-law Anthony Mattjetscheck and Rosina. Hugo is a life-insurance clerk. Rosina S had had seven children, four living; Rosina M seven children, two living.^2,7

     Laura Wilhelmina Schoenborn was born on 6 February 1847 at Lubel, Russia, (acc. to the 1880 census in Prussia, and acc to Find-a-grave in Suhl, Germany.)^1,3 She married Christian Krech, son of Georg Krech and Johana Glaser, on 9 May 1875 at Manhattan.^2,4 Laura Wilhelmina Schoenborn died on 28 July 1926.¹ She was buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack.¹

     The 1880 census lists Christian G Krech and Laura W at Hackensack, NJ, with two children, b. NJ: Albert (4) and Herman (1). Charles is 47, b. Germany, tinsmith; Laura is 33, b. Prussia.³ She and Christian had four children. Albert Hugo: b. 1876, d. 15 Nov 1897, bur. Maple Grove; Herman: b. 23 Jul 1879 in New Barbadoes, Bergen, NJ, father Christian Krech, mother Schonborn. Father is a tinsmith; Clara: b. Jul 1878, New Barbadoes, father Geo. Kreck, mother Schonborn, died young, buried Maple Grove; Laura b. 2 Mar 1883, father Gotlieb Kreck, mother Chenbone, d. 22 Oct 1886, bur. Maple Grove.^{3,5,6,7,8,9,10} The 1885 census lists Christian G Krech and Laura W at Hackensack (New Barbadoes Twp), NJ, with three children, b. NJ: Albert (5-20), Herman (5-20), and Laura (0-4). Christian and Laura are 20-60, b. Germany.¹¹ The 1900 census lists Laura W Krech at 230 Hudson Street at Hackensack, NJ, with her son Herman (Jul 1879, b. NJ, bank clerk). Laura is widowed, b. Feb 1847, Germany, imm. 1872, 4 children, 1 living.¹² Her parents were Christian Gottlieb Schouborn and F...      Mary Schoomaker was born on 12 February 1727.³ She (1) married Johannes Bruyn, son of Jacobus Bruyn Jr. and Tryntje Schoonmaker, on 21 June 1750 at Minnisink.^3,4 Mary Schoomaker (2) married Cornelis Cortright, son of Cornelis Cortregt and Christiana Rosencrans, in April 1759.^5,6

Bergen Families (Schoonmaker File) does not have her as daughter of Benjamin and Catharine DePuy; BF (Kortright File) does not have a marriage with Cornelis; BF Brown/Bruyn File has the marriage with Johannes; and has Benjamin Schomaker and Cathrina DuPuy as witnesses at the baptism of Benjamin, son of Johannes Bruyn and Maria Schoonmaker in 1752.
