     He was an Ensign in Captain McClaughrey's company of militia; 2nd Lieutenant in Col. Lamb's Regiment at West Point. Served as Justice of the Peace, Town Clerk, and as a member of the Assembly. He lived in the old homestead.1,5
     He was educated at Rev. John Moffat's Academy, Orange County, NY in 1780.1 Name variation: Col. Robert Burnet.2

     Sarah C Burr was born circa 1819.1 She married Dewitt Clinton Cook, son of Miles Cook and Matilda Coleman, circa 1838 at North Bergen, NY.1 Sarah C Burr died on 2 March 1839 from the complications of childbirth.1
