Van Houte.)^1,2 She married Jan A Berdan.^3,4 Margrietje Hennion died on 12 September 1799.³ She was buried in Van Houten Cemetery in Paterson.³

     Konight seems to have a marriage with Enoch Vreeland; BC-Families says she has a possible son Enoch Vreeland, b. 1753 or 1754.^2,3

     Sara Hennion was born on 11 March 1765.¹ She was baptized on 31 March 1765 at Tappan, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Johannis Blauvelt and Catharina his wife; father Cornelius Henneyon, mother Maria Blauvelt.)^1,2 She married Dirck Vanderbilt on 17 January 1785 at Tappan, NY, (DRC.)^3,4

     Susan M Hennion was born circa 1856 at New Jersey.¹ She married Samuel May, son of John May and Hannah M Holsted, on 10 March 1875 at Paramus, NJ.^1,2

     Susan M Hennion and Samuel had one daughter, Jemima (b. c. 1876). BC-Families also has a son Thomas (b. 1881).^3,1 The 1880 census lists Samuel May and Susan M at Ho-Ho-Kus Township, Bergen County, NJ, with a daughter Jemima (b. c. 1876). Samuel is 24, mason; Susan is 24; all are b. NJ. They are next door to his father John May.⁴ Her parents were Thomas Hennion and Rachel

     Teunis Hennion was born circa 1726.¹ He married Annetje Doremus, daughter of Hendrick Doremus and Annetie Hessels, on 13 June 1746 at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC.)^2,3,4

     Teunis Hennion and Annetje had one more son, Gerrit, b. 1765, d. before his father made his will.⁵ Teunis Hennion made a will on 9 May 1801. It was proved 29 Dec 1801. He was Thunis Hennion, Sr., of Saddle River Twsp, Bergen Co., farmer. Names wife Annoche; sons Henry, Thunis, Hessel, and John; daughters Ann Van Houten and Frouche Hennion. (5 children: Henry, Ann, Hessel, Frouche, and Thunis. Executors: sons Henry and Thunis. Witnesses: Thunis J. Hennion, James Westervelt, and John Van Winkle.^6,7

     Teunis Hennion was born in 1768.¹ He married Rachel Ackerman (no proof.)²

     Tunis Hennion (1) married Sophia Witty. Tunis Hennion (2) married Mary Chandler. Tunis Hennion died before 29 January 1847.¹

     Tunis Hennion made a will on 2 March 1846 at Passaic County, NJ. It was proved 29 Jan 1847. He bequethed the residue of his estate to his three daughters. His witnesses were David H. Reeve, Richard Sloan and Isreal C. Reeve. His executors were Charles H. Sandford and Daniel G. Smith (Passaic Co. #5484.)¹

     Tunis Hennion was born in 1769.² He married Catherine Kip, daughter of Nicasi Kip and Leah Mandeville.¹

     Richard J Hepburn was born on 12 April 1777 at Derby, CT.¹ He married Harriet Miles, daughter of John Miles and Jane Green, on 17 November 1805.¹ Richard J Hepburn died on 17 May 1865.¹

     Catherine Heran was born in 1820 at England.² She married Thomas Boyd.³

     The 1880 census lists Thomas Boyd and Catherine, with two children: Maggie (4), and William (2), both b. NY. Thomas is 45, b. England, a printer; Catherine is 20, b. England. The children's parents are listed as b. in NY!² The 1885 census lists Catherine Boyd at Lodi Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with four children: William and Maggie (5-20), Agnes and Bessie (0-4) Boyd; and John (20-60), Lizzie (5-20), and Joseph (0-4) Ward.³ Married name: Boyd.

     Belitje Hercx was baptized on 4 February 1652 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Lambert Huybertszen, Jacob Teuniszen, Jan Janszen, and Beelitje Jacobs; father Herck Sybertszen, mother not listed.)^3,4,5 She married Conraet Ten Eyck, son of Conraet Ten Eyck and Maria Boele, on 19 May 1675 at New York City (DRC.)^6,1,3,7,8,9 (Banns on 25 April 1675. He was Coenraedt ten Eyck, Jr., jm from Yorke; she Belytje Hercks, jd, as above.)^6,10

     Conras and Belitje were listed in the NYDC meber list of 1868 as "Coenraed Ten Eyck, Junior and his wife Belitje Hercx" (member # 135-6, name #169-70.)^11,12 Name variation: Belitjen Krankhuyt.³ Married name: Ten Eyck.

He was Theunis Hercxen, jm from the Armen bouwerye; she Sophia Hendricks, jd from the Esopus.)³

     Jannetje Eliasz Herdewijn was born at Antwerp, Belgium.² She was from Dordrecht when she married.¹ She married Guilliam Provoost Jr.¹ (Banns on 8 February 1603 at Amsterdam.)¹

     The baptisms in Dordrecht start at 1588; A Jan Elias Eerdewijn and A Jacob Centen Eerdewijn each have a daughter Margrieta bp. in 1588, and a Cornelis Haerdewijn has a daughter Margrita in 1595. So it is certainly plausible, that she is from Dordrecht.³
     03 Jun 1636. Authorization by Guilliam and Elias Provoost, also for David Provoost, Benjamin Provoost (a minor), and their minor sisters, to receive payment for a house in Middelburg, Zeeland, that their father Guilliam de Elder had sold. It also mentioned his mother Janneken Hardewerijns.⁴
     02 Aug 1636. Janneken Herdewijns, widow and guardian over her minor children, received a receipt from Dirck de Ruijter from Middelburg for a house that her late husband had left to his children. It also mentions Guilliam, Elias and David Provoost, children of Guilliam Provoost, appearing also for the other minor children.⁵ Jannetje Eliasz Herdewijn and Guilliam had five more children (see below). They are all (except Janneke) mentioned in the Notarial Archives in 1636; Guillaume, Elias and David are of age; the others are minors. David is not present, which could mean he is the one who is in New Amsterdam at the time.
