     Abraham Ryerson was born on 23 January 1762.¹ He married Sarah Mandeville on 22 October 1782 (license; Abraham Ryerson, Saddle River, and Sarah Manderviel.)^1,2,3 He died on 3 September 1810.¹

     Abraham Ryerson had at least three children:
1. Abraham (b. 14 Jan 1783, bp. DRC Pompton Plains; parents Abm Ryerson and Sara; sp. Peter and Maria Mandeville)

     Abraham Ryerson was born on 25 January 1785.² He was baptized on 20 February 1785 at Totowa, NJ, (DRC) (sp. the father and the mother.)² He married Dorothy Ryerson, daughter of Hessel Ryerson and Catharina Van Vechten, (Abraham Ryerson, b. 25 Jan, bp. 20 Feb 1785 Totowa (wit: De Vader en Moeder); m. Dorothy Ryerson (Dose; Delia.)³)

     Abraham Ryerson was born in 1744.¹ He married Elizabeth Mead in 1798.¹ He died in 1820.¹

     Abraham Ryerson had 11 children. A daughter Margaret (1806-1844) married Andrew Ackerman or Ackerson, and is buried in the DRC Churchyard in Pompton Plains.^1,2

     Abraham Ryerson Jr. was born in 1783.² He married Sarah Bush, daughter of Richard Bush and Antje Stagg, circa 1802.^2,1 Abraham Ryerson Jr. died in 1856.²

     Adriaen Ryerson married Annetje Martense, daughter of Marten Schenck and Maria Brockhurst, on 29 July 1659.^2,3 Adriaen Ryerson died on 24 November 1710 at Flatbush, NY.³

     Acc. to BC-Families (Ryerson File) Martin and Adriaen are brothers. There is no baptism for Adriaen in Amsterdam; Konight has Adriaen as son of Reyer Elberts of Utrecht.^5,2,3

     Alfred Ryerson was born on 14 August 1816.¹ He died in 1894.¹

     David was baptized in Totowa, he died young; George and Polly were baptized in DRC, Pompton Plains, NJ.³ Name variation: Annatje Ryerson.³ Married name: Alyea.

     Anna Ryerson was born on 30 October 1788.¹ She was baptized at Pompton Plains, NJ, (DRC) (no sp. listed; father Martin Ryerson, mother Vrouwtje.² She married James Wheeler.¹ She died on 28 January 1821.¹

     Derrick Ryerson was born on 26 May 1755 (Konight has date as 1 Jun.)^2,3 He was baptized on 15 June 1755 at Pompton Plains, NJ, (DRC) (sponsors: Dirk Ryerse and Maria Post; father Joris Ryerse, mother Maria.)³ He (1) married Martha (Metje) Vreeland.^1,2 Derrick Ryerson (2) married Rachel Doremus.² Derrick Ryerson died in 1838.²

     Derrick Ryerson and Martha had two more children (acc. to Konight):

     Dirk Ryerson made a will on 6 November 1766. It was proved 23 Jan 1767. He was Dirk Reyerse (signed Deerick Verrinkeisn), of Wagraw, Bergen Co., yeoman. Names wife Leana; sons John Reyerse (eldest) and Francis, both under 21; daughter Jean Reyerse; daughter Geertie. Executors: George Fr. Reyerse, John Fr. Ryerse, and friend Cornelius Gerrit. Witnesses: Cornelius Westervelt, George I. Ryerson and Hassel Ryerson.^5,2

     Dorothy Ryerson was born on 9 October 1789.¹ She was baptized on 30 November 1789 at Totowa, NJ, (DRC) (sp. the father and the mother.)¹ She (1) married Abraham Ryerson, son of Theunis Ryerson and Mary Ryerson, (Abraham Ryerson, b. 25 Jan, bp. 20 Feb 1785 Totowa (wit: De Vader en Moeder); m. Dorothy Ryerson (Dose; Delia.)²) Dorothy Ryerson (2) married John Snyder, of Paterson.^2,3

     BC-Families has her b.year in her own entry as 1790, and her mother as Dorothy Earl. As Hessel married Catherine Van Vechten in 1787, this is in error. I Hessel's entry she is listed correctly.³ Name variation: Dooce Ryerson.² Married name: Snyder.

     Elisabeth Ryerson was born on 6 April 1728.¹ She was baptized on 21 April 1728 at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC) (sp. Peter Gerritse and Froutje Hesselse.)¹ She married Johannes J Joralemon, son of Johannes Joralemon and Margrietje Tiebout, in 1739.^2,3,4
