He remained with them until his death in 1968. He was active in First Presbyterian Church, Montclair, NJ which was the church the family belonged to when he was a child. He was a member of the church council and active with the church choir. After moving to MA, he joined with the local church there. He was also active with the American Management Association and was a frequent lecturer at their functions.
