Her parents were Johannes van Doorn (machinist) and Hillegonda Margaretha Thie.1 The 1905 census lists Reinder Heijman and Neeltje at #74 at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with their children Cornelius, Rynerd, Johannes and Jacob.2 Nellie Nydam immigrated on 18 January 1905 on the Rijndam, from Rotterdam (Jan 7, 1905), arriving New York 18 January 1905. Her contact was her husband Reinder Nydam.5 The 1910 census lists Reinder Nydam and Nellie at 16 Vreeland Ave at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with their children Cornelius, Rynerd, Johannes and Jacob.3 The 1915 census lists Reinder Nydam and Nellie at Vreeland Ave (#137) at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with their children Cornelius, Rynerd, Johannes, Jacob and Henry.6 The 1920 census lists Raymond Hydan and Nellie at Vreeland Ave at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with their children Rynerd, Johannes and Jacob.7 The 1930 census lists Douwe Mulder and Neeltje at 21 Bergen Street (1st Ward) at Paterson City, Passaic County, NJ, with her children Henry, and his children Henry, James, Douwe and John.4 Married name: Nellie Nydam.3 Married name: Neeltje Heijman.2 Married name: Nydam.3 Married name: Mulder.
