     Henry Bick was born in 1812 at Germany (75 at death.)2 He married Salome. Henry Bick died on 27 May 1887 at New York, NY.1,2 He was buried in Greenwood Cemetery.2

He had a porter house, and several people are staying with him; among them (on the next page) Rose, Mary and Catherine Sexaner. All are b. Germany. Henry is 38, b. Germany; Salome is 37, b. France.3 The 1870 census lists Henry Bick at New York City (ward 3), with his Henry Bick (30, b. NY, office clerk. Henry is 60, b. Germany, hotel keeper. There are a number of other people living at the same address.4 The 1880 census lists Henry Bick at New York City (ED 12), with his niece Louisa Sexour? (16, b. NY, father b. Hanover, mother b. Baden), and two boarders (John (50) and Charles (16) Varnell, both b. Louisiana, bird dealers). Henry is 68, b. Hanover, parents b. Hanover, he has a liquor store.5

     He was widowed at death; his occupation was listed as liquors. While acc. to the card he was living in Washington Twp; acc. to the death certificate, he died at 173 Liberty Street, Manhattan.2 His parents were Henry M Bick and Mary E Bick, both were born in Germany.2
