     Cornelius Hoogland was born circa 1677.¹ He (1) married Jannetje Josephs Hegeman, poss. a daughter of Joseph Hegeman, (but not in Hegeman Fam.)^1,2,4 Cornelius Hoogland (2) married Catalina Remsen, daughter of Rem Jansen Vanderbeck and Jannetje Rapalje.^1,2

     Dirck Hooglant was from N. Yorck acc. to his marriage certificate.³ He was baptized on 1 November 1662 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Marten Cregier and Elisabeth Cregier; father Christoffel Hooglant, mother Tryntie Cregiers.)^2,1 He married Maryken Kip, daughter of Jacob Kip and Maria De La Montagne, on 4 August 1687 at New York City (DRC.)^1,4,3 (Banns on 15 July 1687.      Dirck Cornelise Hooglandt was born in 1638.^4,5 He married Elizabeth Rapalje, daughter of Joris Jansen Rapalje and Catalina Trico.^1,4,3 Dirck Cornelise Hooglandt died between 21 April 1701 and 15 March 1705.⁶

     Dirck Cornelise Hooglandt made a will on 21 April 1701. It was proved 15 Mar 1704/5. He was of Staten Island. He lists his wife Elizabeth; and his children: Johanes, George, Arient, Alletie, Mary and Sarah. Wife Elizabeth to be sole executor. Witnesses: Ellis Dusenbury, Jan Woglum, and John Woglum, Jr.⁶

She is not listed in BC-Families or Konight, either as a daughter of Dirck Cornelis or as a daughter of Dirck Jans; neither has bp. dates for the children of Dirck Jansen's first marriage.

     Elizabeth Hooglandt was baptized on 20 August 1699 at New York City (DRC) (sp. Evert Byvank and Anna Duyking wife of Johannes Hooglant; father Adriaan Hooglant, mother Annatje Byvank.)^2,3 She married Christopher Bancker, son of Evert Bancker and Elizabeth Stoffelse Abeel, on 16 October 1719 at New York.^1,4
