His parents were Paul Antony and Elizabeth. Philip was their only child.
A Paul Anthony arrived from the Palatinate on 19 Oct 1736 on the sloop 'John' from Rotterdam. Also, a Paulus Antoni arrived on the 'Delaware' 29 Sep 1741, aged 22 (SGP .1. 300, 2: 310)
NOTE: It seems to me that the aforementioned Paul Anthonys cannot be the father of Philip; the second one is definitely born too late, the first one need more investigation.1,2 Name variation: Philip Anthony.1
