The 1870 census lists Gilbert L Galloway and Susan at Chatsworth at Sullivan, Livingston County, IL.3 The information on this Gilbert shows he was born in 1820 not 1815. There may be another Gilbert who was the son of one of Thomas' children. Further research by Maria Hopper shows this is the correct placement with birth dates varying from 1815-1820 depending on the source.5,3 Gilbert lived in Goshen, NY in 1840, in 1842 he was in Monroe, NY and in 1860 he was in Hillsdale, Bergen County, NJ.
