     Simon Vreeland lived at Bergen County, NJ.¹ He made a will on 29 May 1761. It was proved 9 Feb 1765. He was Simon Vrelandt, of Bergen Co. Names wife Rachel; a child yet to be born; brothers and sisters, viz., Enoch, John, Abraham, Leya and Annaty. Executors: wife Rachel and brother Enogh. Witnesses: Albert Terheun, Michel Van Wincle, Guilliam Bertholf.^5,6

     Sophia Vreeland was born on 12 February 1852 (24 at marriage.)^1,2 She married John F Sisco, son of Daniel Sisco, on 21 February 1876 at Pompton Township, Passaic County, NJ, (NJ Marriages has date as 2 Feb 1876.)^3,1,2 Sophia Vreeland died on 27 April 1933 at Bloomingdale, Passaic County, NJ.³

     The 1885 census lists John F Sisco and Sophia at Pompton Township, Passaic County, NJ, with Warren (5-20) and Chester (0-5). John and Sophia are 20-60.⁴ The 1900 census lists John F Sisco and Sophia at Pompton Township, NJ, with Warren (23, b. Jan 1877, NJ, mason) and Chester (15, b. Oct 1884, at school). John is 53, b. Jun 1846, NJ, mason and contractor; Sofia is 48, b. Feb 1852, NJ, listed as Sofa. They were married 24 years, she had 3 children, 2 living.² The 1905 census lists John F Sisco and Sophia at Pompton Township, NJ, with Warren (28, b. Jan 1876, NJ, mason) and Chester (20, b. Oct 1884, mason). John is 59, b. Jun 1846, NJ, contractor; Sofia is 52, b. Feb 1853, NJ.⁵ Sophia Vreeland lived between 1906 and 1919 at Bloomingdale, Passaic County, NJ.³
     Sophia Vreeland Sisco died at the age of 81 in Bloomingdale. Surviving was her son Chester, aged 47. His address was listed as 1413 Avenue C, Flint, MI. Her grandson John S. Sisco was 24 and granddaughter, Mary W. was 16, living on the Hamburg Turnpike in Bloomingdale. Sophia's son, Warren had already died.
     Vreeland Will Cards had 4 children: Warren, Mary W, John S, and Chester. 1900 census says she had 3 children, 2 living (Warren and Chester). An unnamed male is b. Jun 1880-1; he is not in the 1885 NJ census. I think Vreeland Will Cards list 2 grandchildren as children, as the names are the same. Married name: Sisco.

     Sophia Vreeland was born in 1848.² She married Abram Marshall.¹ Sophia Vreeland died in 1906.² She, Abram Marshall, Walter L Marshall and Elmer V Marshall were buried in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson (Sec 11 Lot 182.)²

     Sophia Vreeland made a will on 14 March 1895 at Passaic County, NJ. (#14516 R Will 426.)³ Name variation: Sophronia Vreeland.⁴ Married name: Marshall.

     Sophia Vreeland was born on 10 June 1831 at Canada East.¹ She married John Davidson Sr.¹

     Her husband was born in Ireland. NOTE: It seems unlikely that Sophia was born in 1831, she would have been 12 yo when her first child was born. Married name: Davidson.

     Sophia C Vreeland was born on 1 December 1824. She married Henry C Berry on 1 January 1846.

     Sophia C Vreeland and Henry had two sons, and lived in Ohio.. Married name: Berry.

     Sophia Elizabeth Vreeland was born on 23 November 1843.¹ She married Peter S Bayler on 6 October 1875.²

     Stephen Vreeland was born on 31 May 1778.² He (1) married Jenneke Vreeland, daughter of Johannis Vreeland and Keetje Hooglandt, on 16 December 1797 at Jersey City, NJ, (Bergen DRC.)^2,3,4 Stephen Vreeland (2) married Elizabeth Van Ripen on 14 October 1817 at Jersey City, NJ, (Bergen DRC.)^2,4 Stephen Vreeland (3) married Altje Van Winkle on 29 November 1828.^2,4 Stephen Vreeland (4) married Ellen Schoonmaker circa 1847.^5,4 Stephen Vreeland married (5) Rachel Van Winkle between 1849 and 1851.^5,4 Stephen Vreeland married (6) Hannah W Gross after 1851.^2,4 Stephen Vreeland died on 31 August 1865.² He was buried in September 1865 in Old Bergen Cemetery in Jersey City.⁶

     Ellen was from Flatbush, Long Island, NY.² Hannah was a widow when she married Stephen.²

     Stephen B Vreeland was born on 21 December 1824.¹ He married Mary Merseles.¹

     Stephen Bassett Vreeland was born on 22 January 1853.¹ He married Mary.³ He died on 19 December 1874.² He was buried in Old Bergen Cemetery in Jersey City.²

     Stephen De Mot Vreeland was born in 1808.¹ He married Mary Westervelt.¹ Stephen De Mot Vreeland died in 1859.¹

     Stephen S Vreeland was born on 22 November 1854.¹ He (1) married Mary Gaston in 1877.¹ Stephen S Vreeland (2) married Maude de Ernie in 1893.¹ Stephen S Vreeland died on 25 July 1894.¹
