     The 1850 census lists Early Granger Jr and Lucy at Brooklyn, Kings County, NY, with their children George and William (house 649, family 978, indexed as Erby Granger.)4 The Denton family were next-door neighbors according to 1850 census (but not on the previous, same or next page).5,4 The 1855 census lists Early Granger Jr and Lucinda at Brooklyn, NY, with their children George and Theodore.6 The 1860 census lists Early Granger Jr and Lucinda at Brooklyn, NY, with their children George, Theodore and Frederick (house 1141, family 1358.)7 The 1865 census lists Early Granger Jr and Lucinda (Lucy) at Brooklyn, NY, with their children George, Theodore and Frederick.8 The 1870 census lists Early Granger Jr and Lucinda at Brooklyn, NY, with their children George, Theodore and Frederick, and Hiram Scott (27, b. NY, clothig clerk.)9 The 1880 census lists Early Granger Jr and Lucinda at Brooklyn, NY, with their son Frederick Granger and Elisabeth Deppert, domestic servant.10
     Someone had the place of birth as New York City, but no source was given. Married name: Lucinda Granger.9 Name variation: Lucy Granger.4
