     Jan Driesse was born on 7 November 1844 at Middelharnis.^2,3 He married Gertrude Wielhouwer, daughter of Leendert Wielhouwer and Neeltje van der Sluis, on 29 April 1868.^2,4

     Marinus Driesse was born on 24 September 1876 at Sommelsdijk, Goeree-Overflakkee, Zuid Holland, The Netherlands.^2,1 He married Henrietta Kievit, daughter of Marinus Kievit and Grieta Hemmink, on 27 January 1899 at Middelharnis.³ Marinus Driesse died in March 1965.⁴

     Marinus Driesse and Henrietta Kievit immigrated in 1902 to USA They came to the US with three children: John (b. 1899), Marinus (b.1900), Gertrude (b. 1902). The letter had two more (Jack (b. 1905) and Grieta (b. 1907), but they were born in New Jersey, acc. to the census.¹ Marinus Driesse immigrated on 7 July 1903 to USA.⁴ He was in 1920 a laborer in a cement factory.⁵ The 1920 census lists Marinus Driesse and Henrietta at Prospect Park, Passaic County, NJ, with their children Gertrude (18), Garrie (14), Gretta (12), Sebastian (9), Aaron (6.)⁵ The 1940 census lists Marinus Driesse and Henrietta at Prospect Park, NJ, with Adriana (19). They are next door to an unknown person with his wife and children.⁶ Name variation: Marinus Driese.³

     Marinus Driesse was born on 11 July 1900 at Middelharnis.^3,2 He married Catherine Moxley, daughter of Edward Moxley and Catherine Gibbons, on 8 October 1922 at Hawthorne, NJ, (St. Anthony's Rectory.)² Marinus Driesse died on 5 January 1930.² He was buried in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn.²
