Considering Hendrikus Bensing names a daughter Tryntje and a son Simson, and that Samson Benson's children Samson and Elizabeth are sponsors at the baptisms of Hendrikus's children, Hendrik is most likely a son of Samson. Catharina is then prob. the daughter of Gerrit Van Laer, but for that more proof is needed, as none of her relatives seem to be sponsors of her children. Name variation: Hendrikus Bensen.1

Family 2

Grietje Kermer b. 25 Sep 1667
Samson Benson had at least one more daughter: Catharina Bensen, sister of Samuel, Sr. is buried in NYC on 4 Jul 1728.3
Name variation: Samson Benson the Potter.4
