Margaret Youmans was born circa 1833 (18 at marriage.)¹ She married Garret Messenger on 16 August 1851 at Saddle River, NJ, (Zion Lutheran Church.)³ Margaret Youmans died on 2 January 1905 at Ramapo, NY, aged 72 yrs.⁴ She was buried in Airmont Lutheran Cemetery in Suffern.¹
