     NOTE: Cornelis is listed in the Storms File with two marriages: with Antje Storm in 1697 (7 unnamed children) and with Wyntje Kronkheit (no date, 14 children, starting in 1696). It seems likely that the first seven children are Antje's; there is a big gap between those and the next seven! For a much better treatment of this family see "Early Bergen County Families" by Pat Wardell. I have changed the parentage of the first seven children to conform to her assessment.6,7

     Krankhuyt and Van Tassel File have Dirck bp. in Flatbush on 24 Apr 1699; and have him married to Christina Bush as well. They did not list the second Dirck. The Tarrytown book (p.25) has a note that the two Dircks are really the same, because all parties are the same. However, if the first child died, the sponsors for the second one were frequently the same as for the first.4,1,5,6
