     James Hammond was born in 1727 at Tarrytown, NY.1 He married Nancy Ann Wildey, daughter of Thomas Wildey and Sarah Griffin, on 1 February 1755.1 James Hammond died on 26 July 1810 at Tarrytown, NY.1
