Ireland), Julia Conklin (45, b. NJ), and Louiza Paulison (23, b. NJ, clerk.)1
     The 1850 census list Robert with wife Catherine and sons George (4) and John (3); in the 1860 census George is 13 and John 11, and there are two daughters Mary (6) and Charlotte (9m); in 1970 only Robert (8) and Charles (5) are listed. A George W is listed (with wife Ida) in Jersey City, his birth year is c 1853. It is unclear whether there is a mix-up here.5,6,1,7 Name variation: Robert Conkling.2
