     At his marriage his father's name was unreadable, his mother's surname was Glaser. His birth place was apparently also more or less unreadable, it is listed as Henf... ... ...3
     The pieces of information about Christian's parents correspond with Dorothea's parents, but it is still an assumption.14 Name variation: Christian G Krechi.4 Name variation: Charles Krech.2

     Edward M Krech was born in November 1836 at Germany.1 He married Theresa in 1869.1 He died after 26 July 1885.2
     He applied for a passport on 6 Jun 1864 in NYC. He was 31 yrs old.3 The 1885 census lists E. Max Krech at Franklin Township, Bergen County, NJ, with his wife Theresa (both 20-60, b. Germany) and four children, all 5-20, native born: Rose, George, Doretta, and Teressa.4 The 1900 census lists Edward M Krech at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with his wife Theresa (Oct 1840, b. Germany), and a daughter Theresa (Mar 1879, b. NJ). Edward is b. Nov 1836, Germany. They were married 31 yrs, Theresa had four children, three living. Edward was a landlord, he imm. in 1854; Theresa imm. in 1859. His son George is listed on the same page with his wife and children. In 1905 he is living with his daughter Rosa and her family (He is indexed as E Man Krech, but it is clearly E Max.)1,5
     There is no proof that Edward M is a son of Georg, except that he is executor of Christian's will (as Max), but he could just as well be a cousin of Christian.6 Name variation: Max Krech.2 Name variation: E. Max Krech.5
