Eleanor Quackenbosch1

F
Eleanor Quackenbosch married Jonathan Cocke on 18 December 1758.1

Family

Jonathan Cocke
Acc. to the DeWitt files Eleanor was a daughter of Johannes Quackenbosch and Margaret Bogaert; however Bergen County Families does not have her as his daughter. That source does not have an Eleanor at all, nor a Quackenbusch/bosch woman married to a Cocke.1,2
The most likely parents of Eleanor might be Johannes Quackenbush and Magdalena Hartwick, who have a daughter Magdalena baptized in 1733. Magdalena could be abbreviated to Lena, and changed to Eleanor.2 Married name: Cocke.
