     Isaac and Pieter and their wives were granted 200 acres of land (Lot 10, Third Concession) in Fredericksburgh Twp, Lennox and Addington Counties, Ontario, Canada.1 Isaac Quackenbush made a will on 14 December 1830 at Ameliasburg, Ontario, Canada. It was probated 28 Jun 1836.1 His son Rynard donated land to the public in 1824 which became a cemetery where he and a son are buried in the southeast corner. He was one of the first settlers in the Burr neighborhood.2

Jacob Corneliszen and Neeltje Van Schaick; father Reynier Quackenbosch, mother Claesje Jacobs.)5 He married Ann Elizabeth Brouwer, daughter of Jacobus Brouwer and Annetje Bogardus, on 7 September 1716 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (Jacob Quakkenbosch and Anna Eliz. Brower.)1,6,7,8 (Banns on 11 August 1716. Brouwer and Veldran have this as marriage date, they do not give a place; it is not in Flatbush records.)9,10

NOTE: Mary DeWitt file (source 27) has Jacob as son of Benjamin Quackenbush, but all other sources have him as son of Reynier; and (Ann) Elisabeth Brouwer/Brower as the wife. There is also not quite enough space between Benjamin's children for another child, and Jacob is clearly named for his maternal grandfather.11,12,1,6
