Wytze and Oepke are skippers, Beitske's occupation is unreadable.4,5 Geertje Anema and Wytze Bonnema were naturalized before 1915.5 The 1915 census lists Wietse Bonnema and Gertie at Midland Ave #127 at Garfield Borough, Bergen County, NJ.5 She and Wytze had 1 more child born in Wonseradeel: Oepke (9 May 1874, #B39, prob. died young).6 Her parents were Jan Jans Anema and Japikje Sjoerds Tjalsma.2 Name variation: Gertie Bonnema.5

     The manumission of Christina Trompeter in 1663 is mentioned both under Christina Angola and under Domingo.3

     dated 20 February 1883. Annie R. Anthony (dec'd) was of Palisades Township.1
     A Anna R. Anthony (48) is listed in the 1880 census as the wife of Jacob M. Anthony (50) at 28 Webster Street in Newark. Both are b. NJ, as are their parents. They have five children, all b. NJ. In 1860 they lived in Hackettstown, NJ; by 1870 they had moved to Newark (Jacob is on the previous page). However, they are still in Newark in 1900, Annie R. is listed as Rebecca A., so this family is not the same as Annie R. Anthony of Palisades Township.2,3,4,5 Name variation: Annie R. Anthony (dec'd).1
