She seems to leave everything to her good friend David Provoost; she leaves money to Johannes Provoost, her sister's child; and to Jochem Jellis Tamwaert, her brother; she mentions her sisters Agnieta Gielis, Barber Gielis, and Cornelia Gielis Tanwaert.4
     Margrieta is listed in the NYDC member list fo 1686 as "Grietie Jillis, wid. of David Provost" (member #341, name #430-1.)5,6
     There are multiple discrepancies between various sources. BC-Families Provost File has her parents as Gillis Ten Waert and Barbara Shut; Konight has them as Jillis Janszen Verbrugge and Barbara Schut. At baptism her parents are listed as Jelis Jochemsz and Baijke Schuts.3,7,8,9,10 Name variation: Grietje Jillis. Name variation: Margriet Gillis Ten Waert.3
