     Emilia Reiman was a (public) school teacher.^2,4,5 The 1930 census lists Emily Reiman at 7 Leary Lane at Edgewater, NJ, with her brother Charles A Reiman and her mother Wilhelmina Hartje.⁴ The 1940 census lists Emily Reiman at 11 Leary Lane at Edgewater, NJ, with her mother Wilhelmina Hartje, and Olive Ensign (61, b. UT, wd, nurse.)⁵ Name variation: Emily Reiman.³ Married name: Atthouse.

     Ferdinand Reiman was born circa 1830 at Prussia, Germany.^1,2 He (1) married an unknown woman. He (2) married Augusta Hartje, daughter of Frederick Hartje and Doris Shepp.¹ Ferdinand Reiman (3) married Wilhelmina Hartje, daughter of Frederick Hartje and Doris Shepp, on 3 April 1874.¹ Ferdinand Reiman died on 15 September 1899 at 608 E 143rd St., Bronx, NY, at age 67.^1,3 He was buried on 17 September 1899 in Lutheran Cemetery.³

     The 1870 census lists Ferdinand Reiman and Augusta at Ward 10 at New York City, with their children Anna, Ferdinand, Fred, Augusta, Edward and Theodore, and Mina Hartje.² Ferdinand Reiman was in 1870 a cigarmaker at New York City.² Ferdinand Reiman and Wilhelmina lived at 382 E. 4th St. at Manhattan, NY.¹ The 1880 census lists Ferdinand Reiman and Mina at ED 308 at New York City, with their children Ferdinand, Fred, Augusta, Edward, Genevieve, Carl and Emilia.⁴ Ferdinand Reiman and Wilhelmina lived in 1890 at 3rd Ave. at Bronx, NY.¹
     His second wife was the sister of his first wife. All his children (except Anna, who was born in Hanover, Germany, she must have been a child from a previous marriage) were born in New York; the last three are buried in Brookside Cemetery, Englewood, with their mother. Carl was a commercial accountant in Edgewater. While there is a burial, no death dates are given for the children.¹

     Genevieve Reiman was born in October 1871 at Manhattan, NY.^2,3 She married Charles F Thomson.^1,4 Genevieve Reiman died on 31 January 1945 at St. Petersburg, FL.⁴ She was buried in Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, with her son Paul.⁴

     Her obituary has her born in Edgewater, NJ.⁴ Genevieve Reiman lived with Ferdinand Reiman and Wilhelmina Hartje at 382 E. 4th St., Manhattan, NY.¹ The 1900 census lists Charles F Thomson and Genevieve at Queens, NY, with, on the next page, Charles James Thomson (Aug 1893) and son Paul (July 1899.)³ Genevieve Reiman and Charles had two sons: Paul (1899) and Theodore (1909), and three daughters: Gertrude (1902), Genevieve (1907), and Doris (1912).^1,5 The 1920 census lists Charles F Thomson and Genevieve at 10 Leary Lane at Edgewater, NJ, with five children.⁵ Name variation: Genevieve Minerva Reiman.⁴ Name variation: Mina Reiman (in 1880 census.)² Married name: Thomson.

     Anje Reinders was born at Stiens, Leeuwarderadeel, Friesland, The Netherlands.² She was baptized on 29 March 1720 at Stiens, Friesland, The Netherlands, (DRC.)^3,4 She married Albert Aebes, son of Aebe Hotses, on 1 January 1738 at Stiens, Friesland, (DRC.)^1,2

     Anje Reinders and Albert had seventeen children.¹

     Grietje Reiners was born in 1602 (24 yrs at 1st marriage.)² She (1) married Albert Egbertss.² (Banns on 26 September 1626 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He was 20 yrs old; she 24.)² She (2) married Antony Jansen Van Salee.^3,4 (Banns on 15 December 1629 at Amsterdam.)⁵ Grietje Reiners died in 1669.⁶

     Anthony and Grietje came to New Netherland c. 1630.⁶
     Apparently Grietje was quite a character. In 1638 there was an inquiry into her behavior, and the parentage of her child, with many witnesses, and descriptions.^7,6 Married name: Van Salee.
