     His second wife was the sister of his first wife. All his children (except Anna, who was born in Hanover, Germany, she must have been a child from a previous marriage) were born in New York; the last three are buried in Brookside Cemetery, Englewood, with their mother. Carl was a commercial accountant in Edgewater. While there is a burial, no death dates are given for the children.1

Grietje Reiners1

F, b. 1602, d. 1669
     Grietje Reiners was born in 1602 (24 yrs at 1st marriage.)2 She (1) married Albert Egbertss.2 (Banns on 26 September 1626 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He was 20 yrs old; she 24.)2 She (2) married Antony Jansen Van Salee.3,4 (Banns on 15 December 1629 at Amsterdam.)5 Grietje Reiners died in 1669.6
     Anthony and Grietje came to New Netherland c. 1630.6
     Apparently Grietje was quite a character. In 1638 there was an inquiry into her behavior, and the parentage of her child, with many witnesses, and descriptions.7,6 Married name: Van Salee.
