NJ) and Kitty Pell (b. 6, NJ), and two servant William Sears and Hannah Bogert.4 David A Pell was in 1880 the sheriff of Bergen County. In 1900 he was a Surrogate.4,3 The 1900 census lists David A Pell and Catharine at Saddle River, Bergen County, NJ, with their daughter Katherine A Pell (b. Dec 1854, NJ), his grandson D.A. Pell Switzer (b. Jul 1893, NJ), and two servant Hannah Bogert and Ramage Charles.3 The 1920 census lists David A Pell at West Saddle River Road at Saddle River, Bergen County, NJ, with his daughter Katherine A Pell (45, b. NJ), his grandson David A Pell (26, b. NJ), and a servant Jennie Sloan.1
