     Catharina Van Brug and Hendrick had a number of other children bp. in DRC Albany between 1692 and 1717.      Pieter Van Brug was named as executor in Theunis De Key's will dated 20 August 1702.⁹ Name variation: Peter Van Brugh.⁷

     Johannes Pietersen Van Brugh was from Haarlem, The Netherlands, acc. to his marriage certificate.³ He married Trijntje Roelofs, daughter of Roelof Jansen and Anneke Jans, on 24 April 1658 at New York City (DRC.)^4,5,1,6,7 (Banns on 29 March 1658. He was Johannes Pieterszen Ver Brugge, from Haerlem; she Catharina Roelofs, wid. of Lucas Rodenborg.)⁸

     Johannes Pietersen Van Brugh and Trijntje had one more daughter, Helena, who died young (bp. 4 Apr 1659; parents Johannes Van Brug and Catharina Roelofs; sp. Johannes de Peyster, Annetje Bogardus, and Marritje Loockermans; NYDC p.52). Konight does not have son Johannes, and there is no baptism for him.^9,10 Johannes Van Brug and Cathryntje Roelofs made a will on 23 August 1662. It was a joint will. Survivor to be sole heir. She was with child, and had two children by a former marriage, with Lucas Rodenburch, named Elizabeth and Lucretia Rodenburgh. Witnesses: Johannes De Peyster and Jacobus Van de Water.^11,12 Johannes Van Brug was named as executor in Marretje Jans's will dated 7 May 1677.¹³
     Johannes and Tryntje were listed in the NYDC member list of 1686 as "Johannes Van Brug and his wife Catharina Roelofs" (member #153-4, name#189-90.)^14,15 Johannes Pietersen Van Brugh made a will on 22 December 1696. It was proved in 1700. He mention his wife Catrina; his daughter Elizabeth Rodenbergh, now wife of John Donaldson (marr. 29 Mar 1691), of New Castle in Delaware; her sister Lucretia Rodenbergh; his son Peter Van Brugh (first born); children: Elizabeth Donaldson (his wife's child by a former husband); Helena, wife of Tennis De Kay; Catrina, wife of Heniy Renssellaer; Anna, wife of Andrew Gravenroet; Johanes; and Mary, wife of Stephen Richards.¹⁶ He was a wheelwright; BC-Families Van Brugh file and his will call him a merchant.^17,18,16 Name variation: Johannes Van Brug.^5,19 Name variation: Jan Pieterszen Van Brugge.      Agnietje Van Brunt was baptized on 30 June 1689 at Brooklyn, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Joost Van Brunt and Agnietje Van Dyk; father Cornelis Van Brunt, mother Tryntje Bennet.)^1,3 She died before 1748.⁴

     She married and had children, who are mentioned (but not named) in her gather's will.⁴

     Claes Van Brunt was baptized on 31 August 1684 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Jaques Corteljou, Jr., Cornelia Rutgers V. Brunt, and mother Tryntje; father Nic. Rutgers V. Brunt (dead), mother Helena Cortelyou.)^1,2 He married Mayke Verkerken, daughter of Roelof Jans Verkerken and Catherine Simons.^3,4 Claes Van Brunt died before 22 March 1713/14.⁵

     Claes Van Brunt and Mayke had three children: Nicholas, Roelof, and Jacque. Roelof married Elsje Snedecker, daughter of Isaac Snediker.^2,6 Claes Van Brunt made a will on 18 June 1713. It was proved 22 Mar 1713/14. He was Nicholas Van Brunt, of New Utrecht in Kings County, yeoman. Executors: wife Marica, brother-in-law Roelof Verkerk, Major Cornelius Van Brant, Esq., and Jaques Cortelyou; son Nicholas; children (not named)

     Cornelis Van Brunt was born at New Utrecht, NY.^1,2 He married Tryntje Adriaens Bennet, daughter of Adrian Bennett and Agnetje Jans Van Dyck, on 18 December 1685 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (Cors. Rutgersen V. Brunt to Tryntje Arysen Bennet.)^4,5 (Banns on 22 November 1685 at DRC, Brooklyn, NY. He was Cornelis Rutsen Van Brunt, ym, b. and liv. at New Utrecht; she Tryntjen Adriaensen Bennet, jd, b. at New Utrecht, liv. at Gowanes. Witness: Arie Bennet, bride's father.)^6,7

     Cornelis Van Brunt and Tryntje had three more children, acc. to Konight:

It was proved 13 May 1754. He was Cornelius Van Brunt, of New Utrecht, in Kings County, Gentleman. Names son Rutger Van Brunt; refers to land formerly belonging to Joost Van Brunt and myself, Cornelius Van Brunt; son Nicholas Van Brunt; daughters Tryntie, Marytie, Margaret, and Neeltie; the children of my daughter Angentie, dec'd. Sons Rutger and Nicholas to be executors. Witnesses: Jan Janse, Cornelius Groenendyck, and Peter Lefiferts.¹⁰

     Cornelius Van Brunt married Margaret Fenton.¹ He died before 1797.¹

     Cornelius Van Brunt had five children, four sons and a daughter.¹

     Hendrick Van Brunt married Eleanor Schenck, daughter of Garret Schenck and Jannetje Williamsen Van Covenhoven, on 21 December 1756 at Middletown, NJ.¹

     Hendrick Van Brunt made a will on 26 August 1794. It was proved 11 Feb 1797. He names his brother Nicholas and the children of his dec'd brother Cornelius as heirs.^1,2

     Joost Van Brunt was born at Jamaica, NY.¹ He married Elizabeth Duryea, daughter of Charles Duryea and Cornelia Schenck.¹

     Joost Van Brunt married Aeltje Coerten Voorhees, daughter of Coert Stevense Van Voorhis and Marrietje Gerritse Van Couvenhoven, on 16 April 1687 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (Iost Rutsen V. Brunt to Aeltje Coerten.)^1,3 Joost Van Brunt died on 17 September 1746.⁴

     Konight has a probable daughter Aeltje (no more info); BC-Families has her also, with two marriages: 1. Joseph Ditmars, and 2. Nicholas Stilwell. However, a Nicholas Stillwell is also married to Altie, daughter of Joost's son Rutgert (see his will.)^5,6,7 Name variation: Joost Rutgerz Van Brunt.

     Margaret Van Brunt (dec'd) died before 22 April 1885 at Englewood Township, NJ.¹

     After their father's death, Nicholas sold his share in his father's estate to his brother Rutgert; and bought land at Tintoon Falls.² Nicholas Van Brunt and Geesje had also six daughters, the first three (Catherine, Jannetje and Anne) b. New Utrecht, and bp. there; the others (Engeltje, Angenetje, Geesye) bp. Marlboro DRC.² Nicholas Van Brunt made a will on 12 April 1760. It was proved 1 Feb 1782. He was Nicolaes Van Brunt, of Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., yeoman. Names wife Geassey; sons Hendrick and Nicholas; son Cornelius' 5 children Gaessey, Joseph, Nicholas, Hendrick and Cornelius; daughter Caty; daughter Jonnety; daughter Anne, wife of Cornelius Wincant; daughter Agness, daughter Gaessey.      Konight has Letters of Administration granted to son Nicholas on 19 Dec 1721; NY Hist Wills has 19 Dec 1722 to Joost Van Brunt. Van Brunt Fam. also has the 1721 date, says that Nicholas has died before that date.^1,4,5

     Rutgert Van Brunt married Elizabeth Albertse, daughter of Albert Coerte Voorhees and Sara Willemse Cornel.¹ Rutgert Van Brunt died on 7 April 1760.²

     Rutgert Van Brunt (1) married Catharine Cornell Wyckoff.² He (2) married Jannetje Jans Van Dyke.^2,1 Rutgert Van Brunt died on 5 July 1758.¹

     Rutgert Van Brunt made a will on 10 July 1755. It was proved 29 Jul 1758. He was Rutgert Van Brunt, of Kings County, yeoman.
