     Cornelius Siersma immigrated on 22 May 1906 on the Nieuw Amsterdam, arriving in New York on 22 May 1906.5 The 1910 census lists Cornelius Siersma and Foktje at Ackerman Ave at Glen Rock Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with four children: Katherine (12), Henrietta (8), Martha (6), and William (3.)3 Cornelius Siersma was in 1910 a bottle dealer, and in 1920 a laborer for an excavating company.3,2 The 1920 census lists Cornelius Siersma and Foktje at Hamilton Ave (#98) at Glen Rock Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with three children: Catherine (21), Henrietta (18), and William (12.)2 Cornelius Siersma and Foktje lived in 1939 at 572 Broad Street at Glen Rock, Bergen County, NJ.1 His parents were Willem Siersema and Trijntje Wiersema.4 Name variation: Kornelis Siersema.4
