     The Telegraaf had an article when Willem Breen and Anna Overdyking celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.⁴ The 1920 census lists Willem Breen and Annie at 36 Virginia Ave at Paterson City (Ward 10), NJ, with their daughter Henrietta Mahl (28), and William B Mahl and Mary R Mahl, listed as nephew and niece). Henry Breen and family live in the same house.⁵

     He was a minister in the Methodist Church, and was a man of considerable fame. He served churches in several small towns south of Utica and in Binghamton. He rose high in the church organization. He is said to have given 14,000 sermons and to have been an eloquent and forceful preacher.¹
