     The 1920 census lists Andrew Hamelink and Anna at 296 ? Street at Paterson City (Ward 3), Passaic County, NJ, with seven children: Harry (20), Rachel (18), Nellie (10) all born in Holland, and Lena (9), Marten (7), William (4) and Coba (3), all born in NJ. They immigrated in 1910.³ Andries Sybrand Hamelink and Anna had four more children who died in Terneuzen between 1903 and 1910.⁴ Andrew Hamelink and Anna M. lived in 1933 at 458 Pershing Ave, Fair Lawn, NJ, with Lena A. (silkworker), Martin H. (no occupation) and Nellie R. (silkworker.)⁵ Andries Sybrand Hamelink was a laborer.⁵ His parents were Arie Pieter Hamelink and Pieternella Sol.¹
     In view of the names of the parents of Andries and Anna Margrietha, it seems probable that Anna Margrietha is the same as Johanna: Arie P. named after Andries' father, Rachel after Anna M's mother, Pieternella after Andries' mother, and later Marten after Anna's father. Pieternella is then prob. the surviving sister Nellie, Coba is Jacoba. Name variation: Andrew Hamelink.³ Name variation: Andras Hameling.²

     Arie P Hamelink was born in 1903 at The Netherlands.¹ He married Gladys Davenport.¹ Arie P Hamelink died on 18 May 1975 at Mountainside Hospital, Montclair, Essex County, NJ.¹ He was buried on 21 May 1975 in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.¹

     Robert H Hamilton was born in 1891.¹ He married Ruth Henrietta Hazen, daughter of Nelson Newton Hazen and Jean Sabina DeWitt, on 7 February 1913.¹

     Susanna Hamilton was born in 1644 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.² She married Adriaen Bogaerd at Amsterdam.^2,3,1 (Banns on 15 October 1666 at Amsterdam. He was Ariaen Andriesse (Bogaerd) from Rotterdam, sailor, wid. of Lijsbet Tomas, liv. Jonckerstraat; she Susanna Hamilton, from Amsterdam, 22 y.o; her witness was her mother Susanna Hamilton. liv. at tha Singel. Bogaerd is not listed in teh index, but is in the scan.)² Susanna Hamilton was buried on 4 August 1677 in the St. Anthony's Churchyard, at Amsterdam, leaving three children.¹

     Susanna Hamilton and Adriaen had three more children bp. in Amsterdam:

One of these died in 1677 (child of Ariaen Bogaert, 18 Jul 1677 Ridderstraat, Bk 1212, p.124). The mother died in Aug 1677, at the same address, and leaves three children.^4,5
