Family

The 1900 census lists Frank H Terhune and Sylvia at Lloyd, Ulster County, NY, with four daughters, all b. NY: Grace (14, b. Aug 1885), Florence (11, b. Jul 1888), Gladys (3, b. Sep 1896), and Marguerite (1, b. Dec 1898). Frank is b. Dec 1861, NY, father b. NJ, mother b. NY; Sylvia is b. Sep 1863, NY, parents b. NY. They were married 17 years.2 The 1930 census lists Frank H Terhune at Lloyd, NY, with his wife Grace P (31, widowed, b. NY, father b. MD, mother b. NY). He was 68, widowed, b. NY, parents b. NY. They were married 2 yrs. They are enumerated close by William H Walker Sr. and Marguerite E Walker.4
Frank H Terhune was listed as son of Jacob D Terhune and Margaret Anderson in the Terhune (Walker) File. Jacob has 8 children, 1 b. in NYC, 7 b. in Rochester, Ulster County, but no Frank. Frank is b. 1861, which would make Margaret 60 at his birth, which seems unlikely. As Margaret died in 1868, he cannot be a son of a second marriage either. Jacob is living with son Henry and family in 1870.5

Jacob is living with son Henry and family in 1870.3
