THey were married 6 yrs.6 The 1920 census lists Charles Lawson and Hilna at 510 West 150th Street at Manhattan, NY, Charles is 49, b. Sweden, stevedore, imm. 1893, nat. 1902; Hilna is 39, b. Sweden, imm. 1897, nat. 1906.7 The 1930 census lists Charles Lawson and Hilma at 21 Ternure Street at Bergenfield, NJ, with two friends: Nils E. (28, b. Finland) and Karen H. (27, b. Sweden) Bergman. Charles and Hilma were married for 25 yrs, Charles and Nils were builders. Nils and Karen were married 3 yrs, Karen was an operator in upholstery.4 Charles Lawson lived at 90 Lake Street at Bergenfield, NJ.3
     Hilma Lawson applied for a headstone on 15 Aug 1938. She lives at 72 E. Johnson Ave, Bergenfield. The veteran is buried in NY Cemetery.8 His parents were Norman Larson and Justina Anderson.2 Name variation: Carl Larson (or Charles Lawson.)3
