Antje Van Dien1

F, b. circa October 1762, d. before 15 January 1779
FatherGerret A Van Dien b. c Jun 1733, d. a 12 Dec 1769
MotherSarah Lutkins b. c Mar 1740/41, d. b Jul 1792
Antje Van Dien was born circa October 1762.1 She was baptized on 17 October 1762 at Paramus, Bergen County, NJ, (DRC.)1 She married her cousin Richard van Dien, widower in 1797.2 She died before 15 January 1779.3
The death date of Antje is based on the birth of the second Antje in 1779. However, as they have different fathers it is perfectly possible that there were two Antjes: the name of both Gerrit's and Sarah's mother was Antje.4
There is confusion between the two half sisters named Antje in the Lutj(k)ens File. From Bergen Families (Van Dien File):
(1)The entry for Cornelius and Sarah Lutkens has Antje (b. 1779) married (no dates) to (1) Richard van Dien, and (2) Jacob DeBaun
(2)The entry for Garret and Sarah Lutkins has Antje (b. 1762) married to her cousin Richard/Dirck Van Dien, widower, in 1797.
(3)The entry for Richard (son of Thomas and Maria Bogert, m. (1) Geertje Hopper) has Richard married to Antje (daughter of Cornelius) in 1797, she married (2) Jacob DeBaun in 1830.
Richard is Antje's cousin, her father Cornelius and his father Thomas are brothers; Antje's father Garrit is a cousin of Cornelius and Thomas, so while related, the relationship between Antje and Richard would be second cousins. It seems likely that the marriage with Antje is in error, but it has not yet been deleted.1,2,4 Married name: Van Dien.
