Frans Jansen Bloodgood1

     Frans Jansen Bloodgood was born in 1635 at The Netherlands.1 He married Lysbeth Jans.2 Frans Jansen Bloodgood died on 29 December 1676 at Flushing, Long Island, NY, from wounds received in a skirmish with the Indians.3,4

He became Secretary to the colonies on the Delaware; Schepin of Flushing 1673 and chief military officer in Flushing 1674.1 Frans Jansen Bloodgood and Lysbeth Jans made a will on 29 December 1676. It was not recorded, but on 13 Jan 1676/77 Elizabeth Bloodgood was confirmed as the executrix of the estate of Francis Bloodgood of Flushing.
