Frederick A Weber1,2
M, d. 9 April 1934
Frederick A Weber died on 9 April 1934.1,2 He was buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack, Plot 468-A.1,2
Frederick A Weber was a PFC during World War I (N.J. Prv. 1c1 Mg Bt 1 Div.)1,2 The application for a headstone was signed by Mrs. Louise M. Weber, 418 18th Street, Union City. The stone was shipped to Mrs. F. Founze?, 101 Pink Street, Hackensack.3
Possibly he is listed in the 1930 census on Palisade Ave, Union City, Hudson County, NJ with his wife Louise (25, b. NJ, parents b. Germany) and a son Frederick (5mo, b. NJ). He was 37, b. NJ, parents b. Germany, a police officer). They were married about 1 year. This would make his birth year c. 1893
In the 1930 census there is another Frederick Weber (36, b. NJ, parents b. Germany, florist in a greenhouse) with wife Louise (31, b. NJ, father b. NJ, mother b. Germany), with 2 sons: Robert (6, b. NJ) and Edward (3y 3m, b. NJ). They live at 570 Central Ave, also in Union City. It was Louise's 2nd marriage (age at 1st marriage 21) and Frederick's 1st (age at 1st marriage 29). He is however still listed in 1940, now with 4 children, so cannot be the veteran. This Fred probably married Louise K. Hunt in 1923 in Jersey City (at St. Patrick's RC church) and is than the son of Charles Weber and Ida Antoni. He was b. 16 Aug 1893 in Union City. They can be followed through the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census (the father is already a widow in 1900), and his WWI registration has his birthdate as well
A Frederick A Weber, b. 16 Jul 1894 in New Brunswick, NJ registered for the WWI draft in Middlesex County, but I cannot find a suitable Frederick in any census.4,5,6,7,8,9
