     Johan George Ilgenfritz was born on 6 December 1702 at Wornitz, Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany.¹ He married Maria Appelonia circa 1727 at Germany.¹ Johan George Ilgenfritz died in October 1749 at Dover Twp, York County, PA.¹

     John George Ilgenfritz was born on 25 May 1728 at Wornitz, Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany.¹ He (1) married Margaret Mohr, daughter of Peter Mohr and Catherine Mathias, in June 1748 at York County, PA.¹

     He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War.¹

     Peter Ilgenfritz was born on 5 March 1805 at Hellam Twp, York County, PA.¹ He married Susan Dietz, daughter of John Conrad Dietz and Anna Margaret Hoyer, on 1 February 1830 at York, York County, PA.¹ Peter Ilgenfritz died on 10 January 1865 at Windsor Twp, York County, PA.¹

     Elber Immerman was born on 2 July 1825 at Owasco, NY.^1,2 He married Ann Prine, daughter of Daniel Prine and Martha DeWitt, on 31 May 1848.^1,2

     Annatie Immet was from the Highlands acc. to her marriage certificate.¹ She (1) married Ariaen Laurensen Toers, son of Laurens Arentsen Toers and Francyntje Thomasen, on 13 May 1721 at Hackensack, NJ.^2,3 Annatie Immet (2) married Harmanus Steynmets, son of Gerrit Steynmets and Catharine Gerrits, on 15 December 1746 at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC.)^4,1,5

     Helen Innes was born on 25 August 1855 at Cockburnspath, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹ She was baptized on 4 September 1855 at Cockburnspath.¹ She married Frank Howie Davidson on 18 October 1895 at Cockburnspath.¹ Helen Innes died on 7 February 1907 at Colombo, Ceylon.¹

     James Innes was born on 27 May 1845 at Rhynie & Essie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He married Mary Hewitt.¹ James Innes died on 24 December 1903 at Cockburnspath, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹ He and Mary Hewitt were buried in Cockburnspath.¹

     Jean Innes was born on 24 February 1848 at Birnie Knowie, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹ She was baptized on 19 March 1848 at Oldhamstocks, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹ She died on 7 September 1869 at Cockburnspath, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹ She was buried in Cockburnspath.¹

     William Innes was baptized on 13 March 1815 at Auchindoir, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He married Helen Paterson Wood, daughter of James Wood and Jean Morton, on 1 June 1844 at Rhynie & Essie, Scotland.^2,3,1 William Innes died on 10 August 1899 at Cockburnspath, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹ He was buried in Cockburnspath.¹

     His parents were Robert Innes and Elizabeth Howie.^1,3,2
     Research Notes:
     Much of the information regarding William INNES came from family information - postmarked letters, and from information provided by LDS records. The earliest information on William INNES is from his baptism which was on the computer at the LDS church library which led me to the source of the church in Kearn/Auchindoir, Aberdeenshire, film #993359. The actual church record is filmes which states 'Innes from Glenrinnes' - 1815, Mar 13 Robert INNES for the time in Kearn had a son baptized and names William.
     Further substantiation of Robert INNES came from William INNES's death certificate which named his parents as Robert INNES and Elizabeth HOWIE. Also, census reports show Auchindoir as the birthplace of William INNES.
     The marriage of William INNES to Helen Patterson WOOD is also on the IGI. Extracted marriage records Rhynie and Essie, Aberdeenshire showed the church record 'Rhynie, 1st June 1844 William INNES and Helen WOOD both in this Parish were this day matrimonially contracted and after publication of Bans married.
     Census records led to more family information. In the 1861 Census of Cockburnspath, Berwickshire were William INNES head, married, mason and stonecutter, Born Auchindoir; Helen INNES, wife married 34, Born Cyrus, Kincardinshire; James INNES, son unmarried 15 mason app., born Rhynie, Aberdeenshire; Jane INNES, dau 13 scholar born Oldhamstocks, East Lothian; Elizabeth INNES dau 8 scholar, born Cockburnspath, Berwickshire; Helen INNES dau scholar age 5; and Ann INNES age 2, both also born Cockburnspath. The 1871 Census shows no James or Jane, but adds Isabella, age 8.
     The IGI has births of Ann Rolland INNES; Helen INNES and Isabella WOOD INNES. Also I have an Extract of Entry of birth of Ann Rolland INNES, born 31 Oct 1858 at 6:30 AM, daughter of William INNES and Helen WOOD.
     The extract of Deaths gives the information that Helen Paterson WOOD, wife of William INNES died 2 July 1876. She was the daughter of James WOOD, mason, and Jane WOOD MORTON (Both deceased).
     The Census of 1881 shows William INNES, widowed, age 65, and daughters Elizabeth 29, and Isabella 18. James INNES, age 35 lives in another residence, his housekeeper is Annie INNES, age 22. Census taker that year was George SHORT, draper. His marriage to Anne Rolland INNES is recorded 17 Sep 1881 at Cockburnspath. His parents were John SHORT and Isabella MORTON; her parents, William INNES and Helen WOOD, deceased. They were married by Alex McNeilly, Free Church, Oldhamstocks, Berwickshire.
Ann Rolland INNES and George SHORT moved to Berwick on Tweed where they became parents of three sons John, William and George. Five days after George's birth on April 4 1886 Ann Rolland INNES SHORT died. She is buried in Berwick on Tweed.
     Further check into LDS films of the Free Church disclosed that William INNES was a ruling elder, and son James a deacon. There are many records, some of which I have copied.
     William INNES's entry in Register of Deaths showed he died 10 Aug 1899 in Cockburnspath, age 84. Father: Robert INNES; Mother: Elizabeth HOWIE. James INNES was witness. According to wills in Scotland, William INNES died testate leaving an estate of 79 pounds, 7s, 5d. His stone in the churchyard in Cockburnspath has Erected by William Innes in memory of daughter Jeanie who died 7 Sep 1869, age 21 years; and of Helen P. Wood, his wife, who died 2 July 1876, age 50; Anne Roland, his daughter wife of George SHORT who died 4 Apr 1886, age 27 and who is interred in Berwick Cemetary. The above William Innes born in the Parish of Auchindoir 22 Mar 1815, died at Cockburnspath 10 Aug 1899. James INNES his son died 24 Dec 1903, aged 58 years; Elizabeth Howie INNES, his daughter died 10 Oct 1933, aged 81 years; Helen INNES his daughter, affectionate wife of Frank H. Davidson, Ceylon, who died at Columbo 3 Feb 1907, age 51; lt William INNES SHORT his grandson who fell at Gallipoli Aug 1915, aged 31 years, mary Hewitt wife of James INNES died 8 May 1936, aged 93 years; Isabella WOOD INNES daughter of William INNES died 28 Dec 1937, aged 75.
     The family has letters and telegrams regarding illnesses and deaths of Ann Roland INNES, Aunt Lizzie, 'death of our father' by James WOOD.
     Edinburgh SRO Sep 1994 Found Kirk Session Records of Free Church Old Hamstocks and Cockburnspath.(ch 3/58) Minutes signed by William Innes Deacon,11 Feb 1855, and William INNES, Elder 5 Sep 1875; also George Short, Deacon 8 May 1881; James Innes Deason 8 May 1881, Elder 14 Oct 1894. On 24 May 1852, William INNES received adequate votes for elder but apparantly didn't accept. On 2 Jan 1855 he again was voted for elder and consented 11 Feb 1855. James Innes was added to communicants 1 July 1862; Anne Innes added 27 Feb 1875. William Innes elected Elder 20 Jul 1875. Isabelle Innes given communion 8 July 1880. George O. short and James INNES were elected Deacons 8 May 1881; William INNES elected ruling elder and James Innes deacon, 2 may 1889. James INNES named Deacon 2 may 1889. A Mrs. Innes added her name to the rolls 2 may 1895. The last mention of William INNES was 1 May 1898.James INNES was still in the records 30 Apr 1903. A letter 'lamenting' his death was sent to his wife 14 Jan 1904 (Writer has copy of the letter).
     Also found christening dates of children born in Cockburnspath,(Jane 19 Mar 1848; Elizabeth, 19 May 1852; Anne R., 21 Nov 1858, Helen 4 Sep 1855; and Helen Innes marriage to Frank Howie Davidson, Tea Planter. Trip to SCOTLAND 1994: Also went to Rhynie. Church built after marriage of Wm Innes to Helen WOOD. No trace, only houses on the MUIRS (behind church) where the woods lived in 1841 (census).
     Went to following cemeteries: Rhynie, Essie, Kearn and 2 of old Auchindoir - no stones for Robert INNES or Elizabeth Howie. In Aberdeen, checked all gravestone records - nothing. Rechecked marriage for Robert INNES/ Elizabeth Howie and to see it there were other children - nothing. In Edinburgh, checked all deaths from 1855 - 1899 to determine if Elizabeth Innes or howie had died - nothing. Checked wills for Robert INNES - nothing. Only help may be Joe INNES, on trip with us, has family from Glen Rinnes - one is a Robert Born in 1885, or so. Could be the Robert innes. Also, in Elgin checked for any files on Robert INNES - nothing. Did find an 1805 census of Mortlach - three Robert Innes' - which one if any is ours. Also in Edinburgh, checked KIRK session records - nothing got Robert INNES, Elizabeth Howie.¹

     Lewis Irish was born on 5 February 1823.² He (1) married Catherine Frances Cleveland, daughter of James Baldwin Cleveland, on 4 June 1845.^2,3 Lewis Irish (2) married Rachel Augusta Cleveland, daughter of James Baldwin Cleveland, on 5 October 1853.^2,3 Lewis Irish died on 11 December 1887 at Hackensack, NJ.¹

     Edward W Irons was born on 25 November 1791.¹ He married Elizabeth Hyers, daughter of John Hyers and Jedidah Wainwright, on 24 December 1814. Edward W Irons died on 30 July 1845.¹

     James Irons was born circa 1733.¹ He married Nelle Longstreet, daughter of Gisbert Longstreet and Rachael Schenck. James Irons died in 1766 at Shrewsbury, Ocean County, NJ.¹

     James Irons was born circa 1690.¹ He married Martha Birdsall, daughter of Stephen Birdsall and Mary, on 4 March 1730. James Irons died between 1760 and 1761.¹

     John Irons was born on 25 March 1766.¹ He married Hannah Wilbur, daughter of Edward Wilbur, circa 1789. John Irons died on 14 June 1821.¹

     Sarah Irons married Clayton Hagerman, son of William Hagerman and Ann, on 6 December 1845.

     Sarah Margaret Irons was born in August 1845 at New Jersey.¹ She married Corlies Clayton, son of John Henry Clayton and Deborah A Hagaman, on 26 March 1865 at Kettle Creek, Ocean County, NJ.¹ Sarah Margaret Irons died in 1922 at New Jersey.¹

     Matilda Irving was born on 26 January 1875 at Beersville, New Brunswick, Canada.¹ She married George Edwin Warman, son of William Warman and Ellen Carlyle, on 18 August 1896.¹

     Ella Irwin was born in 1882.² She married Thomas J Probert.¹ Ella Irwin died in 1967.² She was buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson.²

     Thomas J Probert and Ella lived at 445 S. Maple Ave at Glen Rock, NJ, with their son Thomas.¹ Name variation: Margaret Ellen Irwin.² Married name: Probert.

     Hester Irwin was baptized on 26 April 1672 at New York City (DRC) (sp. Jeams Mattyszen, Jan Stephenszen and Marie Goosen; father Willem Ellewis, mother Jannetje Stevens.)^1,2

     Mary C Iserman (dec'd) married Harvey Iseman.¹ Mary C Iserman (dec'd) died on 31 January 1884 at Ridgefield, NJ.¹

     Mary Ivory was born on 8 February 1699 at Lynn, MA.¹ She married Thomas Witt, son of Thomas Witt and Bethia Potter, on 21 November 1719 at Lynn, MA.¹ Mary Ivory died on 3 May 1764 at Lynn, MA.² She was buried in Western Burial Ground in Lynn.^1,2

     The "TheWitts Unidentified" file had Mary's death date as 22 Sep 1754. That was obviously an error either in the death or burial date. Find-A-Grave has the 1764 date. As her husband died in 1754, the erronious death date probably is the burial date for her husband.^1,3 Her parents were John Ivory and Ruth Potter.¹ Name variation: Martha Wood.¹ Married name: Witt.
