     Elbert Eldersz was born circa 1618 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.¹ He married Elizabeth Greveraet, daughter of Hendrick Grevenraet and Lijsbet Huyberts.² (Banns on 26 April 1653 at Amsterdam. He was Elbert Eldersz (Eldertsen), 35 y.o., from Amsterdam, witness unreadable; she Elisabet Greveraet, wid. of IJsaack de Riemer, from Amsterdam.)¹

     Elbert Eldersz and Elizabeth Greveraet made a will on 1 January 1654. They mention a child Elbert Elbertz. They make another will on 4 Aug 1654, in which they mention his child Elbert; her five from her first husband: Grietje, Pieter, Machteld, Huybert, and Hendrick de Riemer, and Elbert Elbertsen, from her second husband.^3,4
     EIther son Elbert was bp. at more than 3 months old, or there is something wrong with the dating of the will.

     Hendrick Elderts was baptized on 4 March 1691 at New York City (DRC) (sp. Pieter Janszen and Lysbeth Franszen; father Eldert Lucaszen, mother Styntie Hendricx.)¹ He married Margrietje Wyckoff, daughter of Cornelis Pieters Wyckoff and Gertrude Simons Van Arsdalen, on 18 November 1710 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (Hend'k Eldertz, of Jamaica to Grietie Wykof.)^2,3,4

     Hendrick Elderts was named as executor in Cornelis Pieters Wyckoff's will dated 4 April 1726.⁵ Name variation: Hendrick Elderts Van Voorhees.⁶

     Hendrikje Elderts was baptized on 4 April 1680 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (sp. Elsje Lucas V.V. and Egbert Fokkez; father Elderd Lucas, mother Stintie Hendriks.)^1,2 She died before February 1715 unmarried, as she is not listed in her father's will.³

     Johanis Elderts was baptized on 26 December 1681 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (sp. W. Huykke and Elsje Snedekers; father Elderd Lucas, mother Stintie Hendricks.)^1,2 He married Martha.^3,4 Johanis Elderts died before 23 February 1715.⁵

     Johanis Elderts had a son Johannes, who is mentioned in Eldert's will; and a daughter Grace, who is not.^3,5

     Johannes Elderts was baptized on 10 April 1705 at Jamaica, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Eldert Lucasen and Stijntie Eldertsen; father Johannes Eldersen, mother Martha Eldersen.)^2,3

     Bastiaen Eleyessen married Hendrickje (based on the fact that all children (except Metje) have a daughter Hendrickje.)^2,3
