     Pieter Praa from Diepe, who died on the sixth of the previous month, has left behind two children of his first marriage. The widow Catharina Letie was engaged again to Joost Caspersen van Groeningen. We reprimanded her for having her banns proclaimed so soon, which was indecent, and not allowed, because she might be pregnant from her deceased husband. She assured us with great emphasis that she was not pregnant.10 Catharine Laithie and Joost had at least one more son:
