  • Albertus Bastiaan was the father of Johanna Bastiaan, because No parents mentioned at marriage. Johanna is not mentioned in the will of Albertus's wife in 1764. But the child Johanna is not named for any of the grandparents, so probably named after the mother, who died in childbirth.4
     Albertus Bastiaan was from in Deventer at his marriage.1 He married (NH) Anna Christina Lubelei in Almelo (with certificate from Deventer)1 (banns (NH) 18 Apr 1721, Almelo.)1 He died bet 21 Feb 1761 - 21 Feb 1762 in Almelo.5,6

More Information:
Albertus Bastiaan was between 1726 and 1738, and again between 1751 and 1762 a council member of Stad Almelo.3

Lambert Boom, and his wife Geertjen Rompelman took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Christiena Lubelij, with as collateral their house and yard, between the house of the late Judge Hendrik Swam and that of Lambert Lucas. This was to pay off the mortgage they had taken out in 1708, which had been transferred to Lucas Fronten in 1712, and in 1720 again to the wife of Albertus Bastiaan, who at that moment was still the widow of Eerdwijn van der Horst.7

Lambert Berentsen, and his wife Geertjen Rompelman took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife and heirs, with as collateral their personal effects.8

Hertog Abrams Jode, and his wife Eva Meijers conveyed to Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, a house and yard, in which the sellers had been living, between the house of Hermen ten Cate Jr, in which his son Gerrit ten Cate is living, and the sheds of Evert Wanschers and Jan Vixeboxen.9

Hendrijk ten Hoeve, and his wife Maria Nijenhuis took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, with as collateral their house and yard, brewery and brewery equipment, and also the garden and the land behind it, located at the Stream, in which they are living.10

Baerent Hagedoorn took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and his children and heirs, with as collateral his house and yard, in which he is living. Also present are Philippus Prumes and his wife Cornelia Hagedoorn, Abraham Hagedoorn and his wife, for themselves, and the first together with Cornelis Trovest as guardians over the minor children of Jan Bakker and his late first wife Geertruid Hagedoorn, i.e. Simon Bakker and Fenneken Bakker, and also Jan Bakker, who guarantee their legal portion.11

Gerrit Fage, and his wife Hendrikje Geertsen Hulss conveyed to Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, a shed and yard, build onto the house of Hertog Abrahams, in which Everd Wanschers is living.12

Jan Hendrik Dieterink, and his wife Janna Wilberink took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaen, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelije and heirs, for the sum of 1000.- car. gld., with as collateral their house named the Prinse, that they have bought from the heirs of the late Richardus Revius.13

Jan ter Bruggen, and his wife Johanna Rottink took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, with as collateral their house and yard, occupied by them, between the house of the late Johan Prinsen's children and that of Jan Scherphof.14

Lambert ten Vree, and his wife Jenneken Willemsen took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, with as collateral their house and yard, that he has bought from the burgemeesters, council members and mortgage holder.15

Geertruit ter Bruggen widow of Jan Vikkers, with her guardian Secr. Hein took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, with as collateral her house and yard with the land behind it, in which she and Abraham Hagedoorn are living, next to the house of the widow of Jan ten Bruggencate.

Stadsgericht, Almelo,<, 7 Jul 1735>: Geertruit ter Bruggen takes out another mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan and his wife. Margreta ter Bruggen's husband is called Abraham ten Bruggencate instead of Abraham Hagedoorn.16
Stadsgericht, Almelo, 18 May 1736:
Berent ter Braake, and his wife Geertje ter Harmsen, and Gerrijt ter Braake and his wife Berendje ten Bruggencate conveyed to Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, a house and yard, with the land next to it, next to the house of Jan Arentsen Hagedoorn, that they had inherited from their late mother and mother-in-law, the widow of Willem ter Braake.17

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 20 May 1737:
Gerrit Swam, and his wife Judith ter Brugge, and also Abraham Hagedoorn and his wife Margreta ter Bruggen conveyed to Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, their house and yard, in which Jan Boom is living, with the land next to it, between the house of Jan Scherphof and that of Arent van Denekamp.18

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 14 Feb 1739:
Jannes Ruinx, burgemeester, and his wife Anna Christiena Hoofbrekers took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, ex-burgemeester, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelije, with as collateral their half house and yard, in which they are living, of which they other half belongs to the widow Raquet.19

Hendrik Voerknegt, and his wife Fenneke Willebrants conveyed to Ex-Burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, their house with porch, in which the buyers are living. This is an exchange between the buyer and seller of both their houses.20

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 22 Jun 1739:
Ex-Burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei conveyed to Hendrik Voerknegt, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, their house and yard with porch, which Albertus Bastiaan had bought from Abraham Hertog, behind the house of Gerrijt ter Braake in which Hendrik Voerknegt and his wife are living. This is an exchange between the buyer and seller of both their houses.21

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 22 Jun 1739:
Hendrik Voerknegt, and his wife Fenneke Willebrants took out a mortgage with Ex-Burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, with as collateral their house and yard with the porch, in which the buyers are living, behind the house of Gerrijt ter Braake, which they have today bought from ex-burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei. The mortgage was paid off on 10 Sep 1794.22

Gerrit Lucas took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan (ex-burgemeester) and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, in which they are living, between the house of Hermen ten Cate and that of the widow Bruggink.23

Geertruid ten Bruggencate, widow of Harmen Spijker, for herself and as guardian for her minor daughter Fenneke Spijker, with her guardian ex-burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan, and also Harmannus Spijkers and his wife Henrica Ruinx, Baerent Spijker and his wife Geesken ten Bruggencate, and for her absent son Gerrit Spijkers and his wife Catharina Aleida Poortenaar took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, with as collateral their house and yard with the dwellings in the rear, in which she and her son Baerent Spijker are living, between the house of Hendricus Arentze and the Richtersalley. The dwellings in the rear are presently occupied by Lens Kruiderink and the widow of Harmen Spijker.24

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 28 Jan 1742:
Fenneken Schuitemaker, widow of Jan Berentsen Bolk, and also Jenneke Nijhuis, widow of Baerent Bolk for herself and as mother and guardian for her minor children, with their guardian Jan Bakker, with special permission from teh Count of Rechteren, Lord of Almelo conveyed to Jan Freriks Bouw, ex-burgemeester, and heirs, their house and yard, with the land behind it, in which they are livingbetween the house of Jan Rompelman and that of Henrik Slag. And further to Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs the loom and the furniture. From the proceeds ƒ900.- had to be paid to burgemeester Hendrik Jan Bruins to pay off the mortgage for which these goods were the collateral.25

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 8 Feb 1742:
Berent van Oonk, and his wife Maria te Vree took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, with as collateral their half house, located in the Kotersgang, next to Jan Bolk's house, behind the house of Gerrit Bolmeijer, and on the other side next to the house of Derk Engbers' widow.26

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 29 May 1745:
Harmen ten Bruggencate, and his wife Aletta Trovest took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, with the bordering land and the warehouse, between the house of the widow Jan ten Bruggencate and that of the widow of Andries Wanders. They had bought this house from Gerrit Swam, Jan Bakker and the widow of Cornelis Trovest, and they are now living in it.27

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 19 Jul 1745:
Gerrijt ter Braake, and his wife Berendje ten Bruggencate took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, between the house of Otto Swam and that of the widow of Hermen Bolmeijer.28

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 9 May 1746:
Gerrit ter Brake, and his wife Geesken ten Bruggencate took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, which Jannes Witvoet is now renting, and which they have bought from the heirs of Gerhard Kok on 21 Nov 1745.29

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 8 May 1750:
Egbert Peppels, and his wife Lutgert Bolmeijer took out a mortgage with ex-burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, between the house of the widow of Lambert Boom, and that of the widow of Harmannus Spijker. Miss A. C. Stuurman declares on 19 Apr 1779 that the mortgage has been paid off.30

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 29 Jan 1752:
Willem van der Horst, and his wife Johanna Catharina Bretelaer took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelije, with as collateral their house and yard, between the house of Arent Hagedoorn and that of Roelof Wanscher, presently occupied by Jan Nieuwenhuis, as well as a small house behind it, occupied by the widow of Derk Vreman. They had taken out this mortgage originally on 7 Jan 1728.31

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 17 Feb 1753:
Roelof Engberts, and his wife Frederica Bakker took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelije and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, next to the rearhouse of steward Stuurman, the other half of which belongs to Jan Rhee.32

1750 Heerlijkheid Almelo taxlist: burgemeester Alb. Bastiaans. The total estate was valued at 5766:0:0.33
