     Abraham Hagedoorn was from in Almelo at his marriage.1 He (1) married (NH) Janna Holtman on 3 Jan 1717 in Almelo1,2 (banns 29 Nov 1716, Almelo.)2 He (2) married (NH) Margrieta ter Brugge, daughter of Gerhard ter Brugge and Helena Holtberends, on 7 Feb 1723 in Almelo1 (banns (NH) 17 Jan 1723, Almelo.)1 He died b 1753, because his heirs take a mortgage at that date.4,5

He was mentioned in the will of Geertruit ter Bruggen on 21 Jan 1733.6
Willem Boom, Pieter van Haarst, Jan Berentsen Bolck, Benjamin ten Bruggenkate, Berent Oink, Coenraat Colmschot and Abraham Hagedoorn was among the people nominated on 18 Dec 1733 by the council of Stad Almelo to serve as tax collectors for the 1000th penning. They had to be approved by the Count of Rechteren, Lord of Almelo.7

Baerent Hagedoorn took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and his children and heirs, with as collateral his house and yard, in which he is living. Also present are Philippus Prumes and his wife Cornelia Hagedoorn, Abraham Hagedoorn and his wife, for themselves, and the first together with Cornelis Trovest as guardians over the minor children of Jan Bakker and his late first wife Geertruid Hagedoorn, i.e. Simon Bakker and Fenneken Bakker, and also Jan Bakker, who guarantee their legal portion.3

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 20 May 1737:
Gerrit Swam, and his wife Judith ter Brugge, and also Abraham Hagedoorn and his wife Margreta ter Bruggen conveyed to Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, their house and yard, in which Jan Boom is living, with the land next to it, between the house of Jan Scherphof and that of Arent van Denekamp.8

1748 Stad Almelo census: Household of Abraham Hagedoorn (1st quarter). Household consists of Abraham, wife, four children: Leendert, 19 yr, Geertruit, 17 yr, Judith, 12 yr, and one under 10, and a boarder. Bernardus is probably the unnamed child.9
