He was in 1716 a merchant in Almelo.3
Hertog Abrahams received on 3 Sep 1685 permission from the Lord of Almelo to set up a store and bank. He came from Mannheim.4

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 28 Jun 1713:
Hertog Abrahams took out a mortgage with Barend Kosters and heirs, with as collateral his house and yard, between the house of Harmen ten Cate and the shed of Gerrit Hulst. His sons, Jacob Hertog and Joseph Hertog were present. His wife Eva Meijers signs the mortgage on 13 Apr 1714.1
Because Eva Meijers signs the loan a year later, it is possible that she is his 2nd wife, and so not the mother of the children.1
Stadsgericht, Almelo, 16 Feb 1714:
Abraham Hertog, and his wife Hendrina Josephs took out a mortgage with Hertog Abrahams, their father and father-in-law for 300.- Car. guilders, with as collateral the content of their house.5

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 23 Apr 1727:
Hertog Abrams Jode, and his wife Eva Meijers conveyed to Albertus Bastiaan, and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei, a house and yard, in which the sellers had been living, between the house of Hermen ten Cate Jr, in which his son Gerrit ten Cate is living, and the sheds of Evert Wanschers and Jan Vixeboxen.2
